Updated to version 2.0 thru ignition software, didn't see option to disable seat belt chime in the flashpac menu. ALso can you give more info as to ESS disable? it flashes a notice to remove hood switch. How does this new function work?

I thought I had seen, somewhere, on some programmer, the ability to select "Standard" or "LED" headlights also.

I just got my Flashcal to adjust tire size. This seems to work great, though a manual entry would be nice. My tire is 34.41" but the closest is 34.50".

I did see the other features mentioned in this thread present. I disabled Start/Stop. But I did not see an option to select LED headlights. My aftermarket LED bulbs are not working properly. They were not cheap. The high beams will stop working sometimes when I activate the turn signal. Then they will just turn off all together. I'm thinking this is because of a setting to tell the canbus system the lights are LEDs. Is this a feature that will be added?

I believe the only options we have right now to change LED is Front Turn, Taillight, and CMH Stop Light. I could not find an option to change the Headlights from halogen to LED.

That is correct. Unfortunately the Mopar LEDs and some high end aftermarket will not function correctly unless the setting in the Canbus is correct to tell it to look for LED headlights. At least that is what I'm being told by Mopar. That is why the Mopar LEDs for the Jeep require Dealer install. I'm just the messenger here folks.

Can anyone verify this? On my LEDs, the high beams will sometimes go off. Turning the car off and on and they come back on but may go off again. I'm thinking you have to tell the Jeep somewhere it has LED headlights.

What is this feature actually doing? I dont see how it is any different than simply removing the hood switch. There isnt any difference. Id like the warnning chime and message to stop.

Also there is no seat belt reminder on the menu.

Auto S/S feature removes Hood Ajar monitoring and Removes Auto Stop/Start Info screen from Instrument Cluster Panel.

You own a JLU Rubicon correct?

I own a JLUR. If only one hood switch is re-positioned out of the bracket, we get no hood warning without the flashcal. . Removing the stop start screen screen is of no real benefit. A true disable feature would stop the warning chime/ notification that stop start is disabled, and get rid of the warning symbol above the fuel gauge.

You would be better off not offering this feature than mis-advertising the ability to disable stop start.

I saw on Quadratec's site that they advertise the Flashcal as having a "Lockers in 4H" feature for the Rubicon.
I recently checked for updates for my unit. Plugged in I don't see that feature for my Rubicon.
Is it really available or not? Thanks Guys

Speedometer calibration issues

I have Nitto Ridge Grappler 35 x 12.5 x 17 tires on my jeep rubicon JL and used the Flashcal to change the tiresize to 34.75. The speedometer is consistently off by 5%, Jeep shows driving at 42 miles/hr vs. waze or other speedometer tools at 40 miles/hr. Has anyone else faced this problem and found a fix? I will do hit and trial by lowering the tire size, which might help but it's not the right solution.

Not sure what choices you have on the Flashcal but I have a Tazer JL and am running 315 KO2’s and when I first made my adjustment I measured the tire right at 34” but it was 5 mph off using my GPS speedo app so I kept bumping it up one choice at a time and then checked and finally when it got to 34.49” it was spot on at 75 mph so you may try bumping it up to the next larger size and checking and keep doing that, it worked for me

Edit:

Just reread your post and you said your speedo was showing faster than GPS so if that’s the case go down in tire size, for me the GPS was showing faster than speedo so I went the other way

Finally speedometer is calibrated well. For Nitto Ridge Grappler, 35 x 12.5 x 17 which is 34.76 tire circumference, at 28 psi, 34.25 tire setting gets the correct results.
