I am using my as a DD but have a backup vehicle I use for rain or bad weather when the top is off, airport runs or long commutes. It’s been driven about 5 times since I got the JL. It’s really how much you care about gas mileage and what gears you have. 37’s are the new 35’s and the JL can handle them as long as it’s a Rubicon. Sport or Sahara, I would say 35’s.

My wife DDs her JKU on 37's and loves it. Our shop JLU doesn't have DD duty, but I think it drives even better than the JK. I'd say go for it, as long as you are willing to regear that is (non-rubi). 35" is the gray area IMHO, but 37" is in necissary territory.

I guess with the 8 speed and the Rubi 4.10s it's passable on the road with the 37's, but a little high for offroad.

I don't see a problem daily driving on 37's or even 40's. I think the biggest thing you need to account for is possible gearing. I was fine daily driving 37's and 4.10's, but as soon as I stepped up to 40's i ordered 5.13's. Braking is another thing to consider, but I didn't notice a huge difference going from 37's to 40's there.

I DD on 37's and it works out quite well. If I go up to 40's I'll probably re-gear like everyone suggested.

I drive my JLUR every day with 37's. I do Highway/City driving. I have the automatic and stock 4:10's I have absolutely no gripes about power loss or gearing issues. vehicle uses all 8 gears without any issue (Calibrated for 37's w/Tazer)

Daily drive on ridge grappler 37's with 4:10s. Mostly highway at 80mph. It's fine, but will definitely be regearing in the near future. MPG is about 15.7-16.

I get 15.5-16 if i do around 80. 17-17.5 could be had at 65-70. My driving is a mix of city as well. I still use the AS-S and keep the windows down/ac off. If you heavy foot it around town, those number would certainly plummet. my tires are Toyo RT at 37PSI

We daily drive our JLUR on 37s and use it as the family rig as well. My wife loaded it down and drove it to Houston a couple weekends ago and averaged about 15 MPG I'd estimate. We have 37" Ridge Grapplers and it is calibrated using a Tazer.

Do you have any more pictures of your jl. I just picked up the same color jl last week. what lift do you have? I ordered the mopar lift, wheels, tazer, and fox steering stabilizer. I havn't ordered the tires because I'm trying to decide on 37/12.5 or 37/13.5. I bought the color matched rubicon as well

I DD my JLUR on 37s (4.10s and auto tranny w/ speedo calibrated) with a 3.5" lift. Highway, city, and offroad miles (about 70 miles round trip) each day. I also just completed a 4,000 mile road trip from Oklahoma to Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Kansas. Wheeled desert in AZ, and mountain passes in CO. Zero issues so far with the drivetrain, and getting great gas mileage (for a Jeep)... 17-18 mpg hwy (unloaded). 15-16mpg city (unloaded). Drop those each by 2-3 mpg for fully loaded.
