Asking around I've heard a couple others that have the same issue so I thought I'd start a group discussion about it.
My tailgate is crazy sticky. It feels like there is such a vacuum on it that you really have to put pressure on the handle to get it to open. So much so I feel like I'm going to break the handle.
I went to Moab in May and there was all kinds of dust around the seals so I cleaned them off with water and a rag. But it has only progressed on the pain to open.
Anybody else have this issue? I don't want to add anything to the seals to help the issue until I know that is the problem. Hoping others have had this issue so we can agree on the issue.
Let me know what you know.
Here's a pic of the offending tailgate in question since pics seem to help the conversation.
