Repairing small tear on door vinyl

Looking to get some tips for repairing a small tear on the rear left passenger door vinyl (the soft leather textured part). Looks to have happened when I was moving around equipment for work. Has anyone used any product(s) who had good experience with that they can recommend?

I recently purchased this DIY leather and vinyl repair kit but have yet to try it. Thanks in advance!
