I’m looking at 17” Fuel Krank rims (with Duratracs) for my JLU Rubicon, which from what I understand, comes standard with the dual piston Big Brake Kit (BBK). Can anyone comment on my odds of these rims fitting without interfering with the front brake calipers? I know the Rubicon has 17” stock rims but I’ve read a few places that imply this might be an issue. The wheel weights might need strategically located, but if the rim hits, it could be an expensive mistake. I could get 18’s to play it safe, but prefer the look and extra sidewall of the 17”.

Wait until you know proper offset for the new axles. You may end up with a mall crawler stance that includes tires sticking out 3/4 foot.

Also, don’t we have a new bolt size to deal with that is larger than the JK?

From the video of the dealership in Phoenix, it appears that JK wheels fit just fine on the JL.
