Added a few things this summer:

Cargodog rear seat deletes and full Armorlite rear section
Jeetop clear freedom panels
Long Range America auxillary fuel tank (+17 gallons of fuel)

I'm doing a very long trip to and through Montana late summer (3000+ miles) with my pup Ember and wanted to make things comfortable for her and extend range between fill ups given I'm getting 10mpg.

Just got the LRA tank back from shop and really looking forward to testing this out before the long journey! I had it line coated to add some protection and make it blend more.

Ask me anything!!!

Clean custom exhaust work. Do you lose the ability to open and close the valves?

Looks great.👍

How did you cover the gap between the cargo dog and the rear lining? Looks like you have an extra strip of armorlite in there?

love it and my mileage is only 11.5 what did the auxiliary tank cost and did you loose any ground clearance? did you beef up your suspension? what else did you need to do to make sure the tank works?

I had the same situation. Apparently that only effects Jeeps w leather seats, from memory. That strip is only exposed with specific seat options - not all have that bare. I hated it as it went from Armorlite on Cargo Dog to bare paint to carpet. I wanted something cleaner and more functional. With my dog in the back I can use a leaf blower to blow out most of the dog hair vs it sticking like crazy to carpet!

I bought the Armorlite 'cargo set' to match my Cargo Dog w the Armorlite tops. Here's a link to product:

Cargo Set - 18-23 Wrangler JLU (4Dr) – Armorlite

This strip here is what covers it:

Nope, just the mid section is cut out / replaced. Rear section - Borla Atak for me - is the same and retains valve functionality.

Tank is on sale now for $2300 - $2700 standard price. Install prices vary by shop and with the 392 it is more extensive work as you have to fabricate a new mid exhaust section. According to their website standard install time is 7 hours - so multiply by your shops hourly rate.

It slightly sticks below this brace... less than an inch if I recall but can measure. If you have belly skids, they would like be near flush with it. My use application is overlanding only. If I was rock bouncing I'd want to make sure I had skids to protect more (as w OEM tank).

Tank weighs 80 pounds and 17 gallons of gas is 100 pounds - so equivalent to an adult male in your backseat when completely full.

Only other item is to get creative for where you want to mount fuel gauge and pump switch!

Is that a 4" exhaust heat wrapped???
Correct, given proximity to tank I want some heat mitigation / protection. Wrapped exhaust and lined tank. I have a temp gun that I'm checking as I drive and get out for temp checks.

I'm interested to hear more on your thoughts about the JeeTops. I'm really interested in the Sky365 b/c it's glass but the one piece, while awesome when on the jeep, will be nearly impossible for me to remove on my own. I'm hesitant about the acrylic. Any scratching, warping/flexing, leaks? Thanks

This is my second Jeep with JeeTops over 7 years. I've never had any issues with them. They are made of the same material as the F16 fighter plane. They also have a UV coating so you don't fry your head. And come with simple pop in screens if too bright. I've talked to the owner at length and he is entertaining a deal w Stellantis to offer as a factory option. They currently work w some dealerships to offer them at purchase as well. Suspect this wouldn't be the case if they were low quality!

Thanks, I think I’m going to go this route instead.
