That has some serious strip mall flex. The Moab Edition should Have lockers. True the Sahara has been around awhile that’s why the Rubicon is an Upgrade for off roading and is very capable “out of the box”. Not sure what you mean by a True off roader but I’ve had 2 and they have taken me anywhere I’ve Wanted to go.
If the Moab had lockers, it'd be a Rubicon. It doesn't make sense to make another Rubicon with a different name. It also doesn't make sense to have a Moab edition Rubicon as they're two different places. I think they positioned it about perfectly, a lightly upgraded Sahara that's right at half way between it and the Rubicon. Unless they decide to make an upgrade over the Rubicon, but I'm not sure what they'd add to do that, maybe portal axles on 35's? What else can they do besides cosmetics and maybe some more armor? And is that worth making a new model or just a special edition?
Even a stock sport is a serious off-roading machine with merely the addition of some good tires. With the BLD and mud terrains, a base sport would probably out wheel a stock rubi on it's fairly tame KO2's.
