Hi all! I’ve been MIA since the day The Green Beast arrived (after a 116 day wait)- all hell broke loose in RL and then it was time for my vacation to Moab!!! I think I’m the first Mojito! in Moab!?!

My custom decals arrived during my vacation, I’ll post pics as soon as I get them on. Here’s some pics I’m a relative n00b to off-roading so nothing too hardcore... And for the record, I did, in fact, realize that taking the top down in the Canyonlands was a rookie mistake. So. Much. Red. Dust. Spent well over an hour cleaning it out later that night! Oh well, it was freaking fun!

Get ready for some pics folks! Thank you @Bkenyon53 for putting me in touch with Matt. He did a great job and I’m insanely happy with how the parts came out.

So after trying the red dash, and trying to tell myself it wasn’t that bad, I grew to hate what I had done to my Jeep. Then BKenyon53 posted pics of his dash, and within minutes I was in my driveway taking out my red dash pieces knowing I had to get them color matched. The dash made me hate the Christmas Watermelon look so much I decided I needed to eliminate all the red I could. So I took off the bumper and pulled out the tow hooks to have those painted with the dash. I took off the Rubicon decal, which I thought I might regret , but I love it this way!

I also hated the grey in the trail rated badge and the Jeep logo. So I removed the logo, and plastidipped the trail rated badge.

I ordered a black antenna.

I am so happy with the look of just green and black now!

Oh.....RI. Yeah, I won’t be driving that far. So.... what kind of shop did that?

Wheels are KMC XD229’s w/ 3.5” backspacing -38mm offset. The protrude 5”+/- with the Coopers. Measured from the top of the fender flare to outermost tread.

Guelph for mine. I work in Mississauga though. Maybe they’ll make acquaintance again sometime after separation

You literally got me sold on mojito. I had an original order on a granite turbo rubicon, however when the order banks open up on the 13th of September I will order the green turbo rubicon instead with the painted fenders and black top. I have the xhd rugged ridge wheels with the 4.53 backspacing and -12 offset.

Mopar lift is touching down tomorrow.

Any plans on a new front bumper and winchin the near future? If so what would you go with? I’m learning towards the poison spyder bruiser bumper with a warn Zeon 10-s winch.

Hell yeah! That’s gonna be a sweet looking ride. But I’m a little biased so...

I really like the ride so far on my Mopar lift. I think you made a solid choice.

I really like the PS Bruiser! Especially with their recess winch mount over their typical designs without the recess. I’ve had my eye on the A.D.D. Stealth Fighter for awhile, but I have read lately finish has been lacking for some customers. I also really dig the look of the GoRhino Rockline. Even though it’s goes against my “no winch covering 50% of the grille policy.”

Still up in the air on the winch. Speaking of air, I am working on a plan to mount an onboard air setup where my “muffler suitcase” used to be.

What are your backspacing and offset on your wheels? I also have the 37x13.5r17 cooper stt pros waiting on my ordered Jeep and I was wondering how my xhd wheels will stick out compared to yours. Can you please take a front fender shot when you have the chance so I can see how far they go out past the fenders? How many inches would you say? Thanks in advance.

Unless you’ve seen something new, I don’t think Mojito has been confirmed for 2019 thus far. It may well be a 2019 color, but I don’t think anything’s been confirmed yet.

Took me two days and a little help from BlairF on the Alien Sunshade page but I finally have my Alien Sunshade installed!! Jeep hair I can wear with a badge of honor. Hat head is another story. Thanks to Alien, no need for a hat anymore!!
