I don't believe we have a thread like this yet, so why not show off your Jeep "flexing."

I'll start out.

Testing @ROAM long arm kit for clearance. Looks like I may need to add 1/2" bumpstops so I don't rip off my fenders

And another of my Wife's JL at a local offroad park(Need to get a new one with her longer travel shocks)

On an RTI ramp. They stopped me before I had a chance to fully flex it out
The JK's(99% of the group) all had two chances to go up the ramp while they all gave my JL funny looks and only once chance.
With the forklift at my shop at full articulation my front/rear fenders touch the tires at full "flex" but obviously they stopped me before I had a chance to get that far.

There were a few JL's there(one of which won the mall crawler award) but it seemed that most members heavily frowned upon the JL. I just wish they knew I came from a long history of JK's, and love Jeeps in general.

Why did they stop you before full Flex? While I had my JK, I got hate from TJ's, YJ's, CJ's, Etc. When the JL came out I was looking forward to my chance at haten on something newer than mine. Then I said screw it and bought one. LOL. So now I'll receive hate from the JK's as well.

The judges just said that's it.... I had someone looking at my right rear fender because I knew my bumpstops were not tall enough to keep my tires from contacting the fenders(tested via the forklift), and I wanted him to notify me before I got to that point. He said I still had about 2-3 inches of gap before that happened, and usually when that side is stuffed my front is also very close to hitting the fender(which you can see in the pic isn't even close.)
According to my buddy that was looking at the measurements I was actually the third highest even though I feel I could have gone another foot up that ramp without losing traction.
I'm done with that group... To me a Jeep is a Jeep, and to be honest any built offroad vehicle that gets put to use deserves respect.
I initially though I was being paranoid but when my wife and two other friends I had with me confirmed they were making comments about the JL and were just generally unfriendly I said F it.

But hey, at least a JL won the mall crawler award(not sure if that is a compliment or not.:swear:)

I notice a lot of green eyes when I’m out on the trails. Let them drown in a pool of their own envy, I say.
