I see you've got poll questions on the sidebar, which is cool and it generates a lot more votes.
I've seen other forums also put the personal status updates on the sidebar. Then people could see them more readily and leave comments. Right now they are hidden where hardly anyone will see them.
I think this would be a good fit beneath the poll question and above the Garage photos, if the forum software allows for it.
