Received my Rockhard sliders today. Built crazy strong it seems. The fit was perfect. Didn’t have the issues that some have had, like drilling out the pinch seam holes. About an hour to remove and install these.
I really like them but the only thing maybe I would change, is the angle of the bars. They look like they could be angled up even more or the rails themselves higher like the factory. I understand the rails are much thicker and stronger so I can see why they sit a bit lower.

Overall I like the looks and with as many attachment points they look like they will take a hit. So, here’s some pics. Any questions, let me know.

Looks like a very serviceable rock rail. Thx for sharing.

Do they cover the pinch seam as well as the stock ones? Also any issues with the body bolts and the red lock tight?

They had a tent at at the PA All breeds Jeep show. These rock rails were very impressive. They had a ton of mount points, thick steel mounts, and a good look. They also have tough under body armor plates. If I was planning to do rock crawling, I’d be buying their stuff.

Check out this link, and the attached picture.

They mount to the pinch seam, AND the body’s floor, AND the frame mount. They have some nice pics, and answers to FAQ’s.

Sorry I just saw these reply’s. They bolt to the pinch, body and frame. They are amazingly strong where they they are mounted. I was worried about the pinch seam coverage too. But after mounting them they cover it about like the stock ones, maybe a bit lower but still, the seems are hidden. You won’t be disappointed. I wanted some protection that pushed the Jeep away from rocks. These seem to stick out the furthest than the rest out there. I was waiting for the EVOs but I decided on these. And best of all, they are priced extremely well.

I got the Rock Hard Patriot sliders too. You can lift the side of your Jeep with a jack if you need to. I dont know of another slider that is built more stout than these. And they do cover that pinch seam like the factory. I did get the covered steps.....as I believe they keep the stones and mud off the side of my rig a bit better......but the structure is the same as shown in your pics above. I'd buy mine again in a heartbeat.

Just finished mounting the Rockhard Sliders with covered step to my 2021 JLUR. Removing the front body bolts was initially terrifying. All the others came out like butter. The front ones (with Locktite, apparently), required major breaker bar usage and had me watching horrifying videos of snapped bolts. I was going to give up and have them professionally installed. Thankfully someone posted a video telling how to remove them safely. It took nearly 40 minutes to loosen them both but I got them out safely. Most of the rest of the install wen without incident.

Lucky7. Could you post pictures of your sliders with covered step? I am thinking either covered step or angled up. Also, did you use any heat to loosen the front bolts?
Thanks

I did NOT use heat. I was afraid of that. Just the method from the video. I'll get some pictures up here shortly

Anyone install the angled down version, would be great for my kids getting in the car, and want to see how far it actually drops as I don’t want anything that impacts my clearence and break over.
