Well I've had my new Rubicon for about a week and a half now and few over a 1000 miles and its awesome.. took parts off day one! I haven't yet found a suiting name for the Jeep yet and I'm not gunna put it on the side of the hood either but I like to pump the jeep up with a name when it does a good job! So whenever I figure it out I'll grace the world with it! No clue where I wanna go with this thing I'm building a tube chassis scrambler with a cammed 392 and 5 speed auto so this might not go crazy or it does! I'll likely go to 37's and do the JKS lift with good shocks and stuff. I've already ordered 4.88 gears so I'll have them when I do the change over.. but this Jeep is crazy how well it does on and off road.. Very impressed. That being said it might stay awhile!

Day 8 installed Warn winch plate and Warn Zeon 10s no complaints. didn't like the face plate that Warn sends so you can mount a front plate so I just cut it off!

Day 12 the group I'm apart off went wheeling and we did Red Elephant Hill and Spring Creek just west of Denver. I did get stuck and had to winch only because the ground clearance was an issue, other then that the JL did amazing.

Hello Michael,

What light bar is that? Did you mount using the existing bolt holes?

Thanks, Joe

Yes I did originally until thenwinch was in and the control box was in the way. But I used a flexable ruler and moved the holes down 1.5” and worked fine. It’s a Rigid SR10 light bar.

Nice job! Question though- I saw a video showing those vents was nonfunctional and was directing water out of sides of hood between the dampening so since u cut off the back and made it functional, and I didn’t see the dampening on urs, did u do anything to help keep water out or direct it?
