I have seen a few with the grill painted black and it looked good. I will be spraying mine myself again like it did on my JK with rattle can of that textured paint. It cam out looking really good

Big Al when you took the wheel rings to get power coated did you tell them just match the front hooks since their red ? I really like this red ring you did a lot. I was going to go with a method wheel i like also but this red ring really looks good like that since the front hooks are red and the red dash on the Rubicon

The red ring was an option add on from a link site on the XD web site. They were $25 each and were shipped right to my installer Globex.

Had fenders painted to match the body. Done with custom paint work.

Do you have keyless entry? If so, do you know how difficult it was for your mechanic to get the handles, as well as the back lights, off to paint them? Or did he just spray them? Thanks!

Well...after lurking around forever, I decided to join this particular club When asked by the dealer why I was purchasing a wrangler, I told him it was to honor the wishes of my 10 year old self after riding in my uncles CJ many years ago. But now I get to share it with my own 10 year old and family! Forgive the stock everything, but will get there eventually. Gotta get that savings back up a bit first lol.

So I have seen...so far the first thing will be a decent looking siderail/step. My little ones cant quite get up there easily enough without something. Then next immediate will be a alienshade/spider/offbrand etc, then lift and tires/wheels will come down the road.

I do not have keyless entry. He took everything off to paint. Not a problem.

Although front black trim around the fenders/wheel wells we a pain for him to do.

Officially a member of the bright white wrangler thread. Our JL was delivered this week and we picked it up today. Have already installed a set of take-off mopar side steps and removed the sport model bumper ends. Wife did her first “mod” and installed one of the t-Rex stickers on the windshield by the Jeep picture. Now we need to try to swap over to the soft top this weekend.
