You have no rubbing issues with a +20 offset?
No clearance issues but I have not taken it offroad. They have a bit more inside clearance than the +44 17x7.5 factory rims just not sure about fenders at full squeeze.

That's great I hope they work out for you. I like to keep them trucked as much as I can too. Every tire shop I go see wants too put a 9" wheel a -12 offset on Mine.

I think many shops don't realize the Rubi has wider axles and they want the negative offest to avoid clearance issues on Sahara and Sport models when going with wider rims.

Same here. I even was trying a bigger online shop today and they kept telling me I needed to have at lest a 0 on a 9" wheel. They also was telling me the 37's won't fit with a 2.5 lift. There all used too the JK.

Yep, Discount Tire kept asking me if I had a lift when I was tryjng to order my 35's. I would say no and then the guy would keep telling me they won't fit. I finally said I plan to get a lift so he would order my tires.

JLU Pilot,

That’s a perfect setup. Can you post head on shots and rear shots? I hate it when the tire stick out super wide. It looks like a +20 offset is ideal.

New here and not sure on rules of introductions. I know some forums like you to treat it like you walked up to a campfire. You wouldn't just start asking questions but would get to know the group a little.

From Jax, Fl. Have a wife and two daughters 3&5 that can't wait to get into a new Jeep and start exploring. They are part of the Eagle watch group here and love to go check on nests in the area. Avid fly fisherman and paddle boarder and hit the Bahamas as often as possible to chase bones and drink Kaliks with my friends.

Think there'd be any rubbing issues with a 20x9 -12 offset with 295/65R20 or 325/60R20 on a stock Rubi. They both measure just north of 35" but the 325's are 13" wide.

Welcome to the group. You shouldn't have any issues for inside clearance but if you are off road at full compression I suspect you will hit the fenders. Plug in the 325 info in the calculator from the link below and you can see the set up vs factory which is 285x70 on 17x7.5 +44 offset. You will be sticking out 3 inches. Enjoy your new rig.

Only thing I would add is a bit off topic. The 20x9 dont look as concave as the 17x9. Looks like a different wheel- much flatter appearance. Feel like you have to go wider like 20x12 to get back the look. I loved the 17x9 but would be disappointed with the 20x9. The stock pics and drawings dont really show how much different they look- at least to me.

Mine fit fine, not obstructing the brake light. I did have to extend the bumpstops to rest against the spare.
What did you use to extend the bumpstops and how’s it working so far?
