Give us updates !!! Someone had a check engine light the day they got their ocean blue. The person with the half clear coat missing in hard top ? The person the Texas ??? With the Rubicon with all of the problems ???

Did yalls issues get resolved ?
Issues resolved :) and got a warranty a really good one! So I’m happy now :)

Jeep was ordered on 2/17/18, 101 days ago. Dealer thinks it will be in New Jersey on 6/4 and will get to me a couple days after that, but Jeep Chat says the status is still "Shipping" and there is no ETA. This Saturday will be 15 weeks since I placed my order, when I was told the vehicle would likely be ready in 6-8 weeks but "they tell everyone 10 weeks to be on the safe side."
I just got mine too, long time.

Just passed 1k miles and one of my friends noticed one of the pins on the passenger side fender isnt connected (at least It should be an easy fix)

My lease expired on 5/18 and my dealer is giving me a free loaner of a 2017 JK to tide me over. That's the only reason I haven't lost my mind.

I gave them $1K down, although I think they'd refund it if I asked, but then I'd be at square one with no car, and who knows how long the wait would be? The only way I'd do it would be if I found the car I want in a lot.

I believe there should be a celebration when Frankie's Jeep makes it in. I believe by far he may have had the longest wait.

Just got this from the dealer a couple of mins back:

Suresh,

I've been looking to see why your Wrangler is taking longer than expected to arrive. I was told that they're having some supplier issues with the soft tops for the new Wranglers, basically the demand is greater than the supply and they're struggling to make enough of them. That means that Wranglers with the soft top or dual top group (like yours) face some delays being shipped out. Like I mentioned earlier, I'll let you know as soon as they've actually shipped the vehicle to us.

Not sure if you ordered dual top though...

Also, then how can it be ready to ship when truly it is waiting on a part. If what the dealer states is correct and what i suspected is true that really these are not getting fully competed due to parts delays so they push the status to KZ and hold until rest is completed and tell the customers it is ready but facing shipping delays...
Hard top only for me. And you're right, if it's waiting for a part it's not "waiting to ship." Are you sure you're KZ?

On 5/25, my CAC case worker told me:

Dear Frank: As of today 5/25/2018 I am not seeing any new updates in our systems. Your vehicle is still scheduled to arrive at the dealership today - I will check our systems on 5/28/2018 when back in the office to provide an new updates. Sincerely, Nicole Jeep Product Information Center

Today's CAC email:

Dear Frank: I am following up with regards to my email sent 5/25/2018. I see the dealership ETA has lapsed and our resources are showing that the vehicle has yet to arrive at the dealership. I have taken the liberty of escalating your file to obtain an update on where your vehicle is - I see it was loaded onto a truck 5/14/2018 but our systems are not reflecting anything beyond that. Once I receive an update I will contact you back via email. Sincerely, Nicole Jeep Product Information Center

Yay! Yippee! So happy for you! I felt bad that the initial issues robbed you of your initial joy. We bought the 10 year/100K bumper to bumper extended warranty because of some of the issues shared on this forum.
My sincerest wish for you is to have many repair free, safe miles in your beautiful OB JLUR!

I got 7 years/75,000 miles because I probably will get bored around that time and get another jeep haha... but I totally agree with it being the first of the JL series and the issues I have seen on this forum - I agree, so worth it, even if just piece of mind lol

My all blue Rubi is still at Dennis Dillon, was delivered on 5/18 but the bumpers I ordered back in March still haven't arrived. Front bumper is a Poison Spyder Bruiser and rear bumper is an ICI Magnum w/sensor holes. They have changed out the cloth seats with Katzkin leather, added the ACE slider/steps. They will be adding tint to all the windows, removing the red dash and painting it. Winch for the new bumper and new wheels KMC XD 135 Grenade OR Matte black.
