It was a hot one today, finally took the top and doors off. So much fun. Took a nice cruise at night also, loving this thing!!

First Sting Gray with 37s! Please post more pictures!Got the ceramic coat applied, ready to get her dirty
Gorgeous!I’ll get better pics when I get home! The dealership was supposed to install the lift but we are just going to do it ourselves. Then I will be putting 37” toyo open country MT tires with Method standard wheels
WowIt’s a rainy afternoon and I saw ups brought me a fat envelope. Just settled in to read my own printed copy of my owners manual, but noooo, they sent me one for a JK !
I read about this happening early on, figured they had it worked out by now.
beautiful..can’t wait! It’s been raining damn near everyday since I got my SG JL...when I picked her up, we were under a tornado watch.
Looks like we have a break from rain (for awhile)...so time for a wash.
Pics in wild sometime soon...for now, thought I’d share these.
Cool information! Thanks, TristanNot SG related but just thought it might be of interest .... here are the prices for JK Wranglers when they first came out in 2007,and you could get a 2 door sport for under $19,000!... https://www.autotrader.com/Jeep/Wrangler/2007 and a 4 door Rubicon started at $29,240 (now $40,995) ...curious to know those prices adjusted for inflation!..
Was looking at the UK Jeep site, its a quiet morning here on the sofa!....they do not get the V6, they get the 2.0 Turbo OR a 2.2 Turbo, not sure why the choice!.. they also have the Sahara style bumpers on both Sahara AND Rubicon as well as the addition of the "gap fillers" we see only on the Sport, from the bumper to bottom of the fender(very happy we don't have that) does not look like you can get a metal bumper. also looks like the side mirrors have indicators/marker lights built into them.lastly the hoods are different, they both share the same deisgn (with vents but not the NA Rubicon hood) I assume the hood design, bumper fillers and lack on steel bumpers are required to meet the stricter European pedestrian impact laws, the side mirrors might be a cool little upgrade.
Have a great Saturday
WOW! That photo just sold me on sting gray over the granite! I need to place an order for one this week.Got the ceramic coat applied, ready to get her dirty
Great photos! Thanks for sharing This looks like my build, minus the color matching top
Can you use them as a step? I ordered Rough Country drop steps, but I was considering these as well.
Me too! I went with the premium soft top only. I am too lazy to be taking off a hard top. Did you get the black hard top?Great photos! Thanks for sharing This looks like my build, minus the color matching top
I did get the black hard top. I was afraid of ordering another soft top, due to delays. My second order arrived (dual tops) without the soft top. I also have Ace rock sliders sitting in the garage. :cwl:Me too! I went with the premium soft top only. I am too lazy to be taking off a hard top. Did you get the black hard top?
I was wondering that too. Being under 5 ft, it's a slight challenge getting in. But took the jeep for some light off roading in the mountains and I heard the rocks kicking up. I want so get something that might also block the rocks from kicking up and chipping the paint. Can you use them as a step? I ordered Rough Country drop steps, but I was considering these as well.
