Are those the the Rock Sport shocks from Metalcloak?

How would you compare the ride quality to the stock Rubicon ride? Is it firmer, softer, similar?

I am considering Metalcloak, but I don't want a ride firmer than a stock Rubicon. Do you get spring squeak like I have heard on some youtube videos? (unknown brand).

Thanks,
no spring noises at all. Even Offroad. I would get the Metalcloak spring correction pad (or rock krawler) to prevent possible spring bowing. Not all do it and it’s common with any brand spring on the JL. (Front springs). The correction pads might be why I don’t have spring noise.

Yes they are rock sports. ride feels better. I’m running around 30psi in the tires. The springs are dual rate. So it’s softer when it comes to the ride but more firm for body roll in cornering. I think it’s an improvement in ride considering how much taller the Jeep is.

And added the American Adventure Labs ARB dual compressor mount and remote airline connection to the back of the Jeep. I still have some moving around to do to the power distribution block and add in a fuse box for the 12v power outlets and some led lights I’m putting in the top of my Tuffy security trunk lid.

And pics the shop sent me of my Jeep on the rack. The are doing the regear to 4.88, front axle truss, teraflex ball joints, teraflex tie rod and drag link. Getting RCV axles also but they are on back order. Expected in roughly 9-10 weeks. But it won’t take long to install those. Shop said swing by when they arrive and they will put them in.

I also ordered and they installed the bestop nx slant back top. I figured since they had the Jeep all week it was easier to just them install the top. I drive a truck for a living and usually home every other night. But I dropped the Jeep off and just staying in the truck all week.

I had the base soft top from the factory. I’m listing it locally for $1000 obo. It in great condition so it should sell quick I hope lol.

I think I’m definitely leaning towards a spare tire delete now that I have the slant back top. But that’s based on this pic of the Jeep on the lift lol. I’ll wait until I see it in person Friday to seriously consider it. Lol.

Finally added the Metalcloak FAD skid today. It’s been on the shelf for awhile waiting on the gears and truss to be installed. Took the cheap small stamped steel factory FAD skid off and threw it away.

Just installed the American adventure labs MASS floor and the flat slide. Drawers and shelf are on order. Install was easy. Reworked the wiring to the arb compressor and the remote kit for the air filters and power switch for it. I hate wiring lol.

What brand is this? Been looking for something like this for a while now.

These are factory half doors. I found someone selling them new in the box on Fb marketplace. I drove 6 hours from Memphis, TN to Pensacola florida to pick them up. 12hour round trip.

Got my AAL cargo shelf installed. My second drawer will be here in a day or two and I’ll get it in and be done with the back cargo area for a little while.

put my trail tools in to check the fit. Got them all and a little more in the drawer. My tire tools (air hose, chuck, air down kit, plug kit, etc) will go in the new drawer. Along with random other things I may need lol.

the rear red rail on the shelf is really close to my rear slant window when it’s installed. I’ll probably flip the rail around. I’ll lose 1-2” of shelf but the Rail will then be another inch or so from the window. I don’t want the window to get scratched because it moves some when I’m on the interstate and just barely taps the rail.

And finally received my second 6” AAL drawer. I might get the 3” drawer later for storage and organizational overkill lol.
