yup! That’s good!!! Highly recommend!

Friday night, got too drunk and started a now 7 page long thread. 😆 stayed at the ACT Campground. Do not recommend. It’s right by the road and extremely loud all night long. They had a toilet that wouldn’t flush the last two days, no TP in the other stall that did work, no paper towels after washing hands, but they did leave us firewood which I used. They wanted to charge me $15 to check in at 1pm as an early check in with no one there and said I had to come back after 3. arrived back around 715 and no one was there, so, I just picked a campsite and setup my tent.

okay so, had three beautiful days, and FREEZING nights. Saturday morning I hiked turret arch for the sunrise. It was pretty cool. Saturday afternoon was Hurrah pass into chicken corners on Saturday. Meh. I don’t think I’d go again. a lot of side by sides. I think that road is more meant for them and how they handle the bumps. Maybe I just didn’t air down enough but it was very jarring. I was at 27 and should have went down to like 17. It took me about 5-6 hours, including stops that totaled around 1 hour. The little hike at the end was cool, fun to walk on the edge and stare death in the face!
Got back into town and it was wayyy too late to do my sunset hike. Went to Fiesta Mexicala and waited 90 minutes for possibly the worst fajitas I’ve ever had. I was extremely disappointed. Not only was the flavor horrible, the menu price didn’t reflect what I was charged. Menu said $19.99 I was charged $21.99. When I asked they said sorry the price changed and they didn’t update the menu. I didn’t care, I’ll never go back and maybe some of you won’t try it now.

okay, burrito finished and I have a 7ish hour drive home so I’ll finish this later today!

Okay, where was I? After an 8.5 hour drive (thanks I-70 dead stop traffic) I was exhausted.

On Sunday, I got up and did a sunrise “hike” to Mesa Arch. It was pretty cool but had too many of your stupid valley girl lol omg u r 2 crzy social media people. People just weasel their way in front of you then move backwards pushing you so their stupid social media whore friends can get where they are. Whatever. I’m too old to get mad and push them off the ledge at this point in my life. It was pretty cool. I went off and sat down and had breakfast and took it all in. After Mesa Arch, I headed to sand flats rec area to try Fins n Things. I’m so glad the timing all worked out as it did because I met an awesome group of 2 families there together. I was out at the 2nd obstacle trying to figure out which one I try and a guy comes up in another JL and gets out to look. I asked him, “first time here for you too?” He told me yes and asked if I was alone. The. He let me know I can come along with them if I like. I’m so glad I did because no freaking way I would have tried everything I did without them! I just followed the other Jeep basically everything he did, I did! JLUR on 35s with stock suspension and his friend with his family in a Colorado lifted with 35s. It was a blast!! We even picked up a 4Runner there for his first time to tag along with us too!It was pretty funny, at each big obstacle, the Jeep would go up then all the kids would get out then the Colorado and all the kids out then it would be my turn and the kids were all outside “mike! Mike! Mike! Mike! You can do it!!” It made my day it was so much fun!!! So, if you’re on here Shawn (or Sean) thank you again so much for letting me tag along!!! This was easily my most favorite day of the trip! After Fins, I wanted to do Hells Revenge but ran out of time because I also wanted todo a sunset hike at delicate arch. Ended up being super cloudy and windy but it was still awesome up there. I hiked down in the dark and took a picture of these cabins and told my family in our group text that I think I’m lost because these creepy Blair witch cabins were not on the trail on the way up and I’m
probabThen I went back to my campsite and had dominos pizza and a camp fire for my last night.

It's not that the road was 'meant for them' since it was used by full-sized vehicles long before side-by-sides were even a thing, it's that many of the roads in the Moab area (and in Colorado, too) have been pretty torn up by side-by-sides in the past few years. Many backroads I used to enjoy driving have become much less enjoyable these past few years as SxS growth has exploded.
