I have two sets of those Tactik T-743s, one for summer wheeling with my 35s and one for winter and road trips with my 33s - I love 'em. Can't beat the price point and they have a great look.

Got my tires and wheels today.
Procomp Series 29,17x8.5
Cooper STT Pro 35”s (315x70r17)
No lift and all is good.
Love the stance and they stuff nicely.
Spare fits fine for now, until brackets gets here.
It’s going to be a fun weekend...

One of the U-tubers who tackles really over the top rock climbs is doing it on 37's with the stock unreinforced mount for the spare. He says the problems with the stock setup is the tire bottoming on departures. He uses a bent piece of square tubing in the hitch receiver to take the blows of departures and has served him well.

Long story short. I work at a LR dealership. Was going to order a D90. It left a lot to be desired for me. Bought the wheels and never bought the Defender. I loved the utility and look so I put them on the Jeep.

Hello All,

I am planning on putting 35s once I get my JLUR. I don't plan on adding a lift. I am debating whether I should go with 18-inch rims or 17-inch rims. Can you post some pictures of your jeeps with those size rims to help me decide?

18s are an odd size and you will be very limited on tires. Also, tires will be more expensive than 17s.

No lift.
With bumpers it's a little low, AAL fender kit incoming.

We loved the look of our 2021 JLUR with stock lift and 35 Falken Mud tires with 17 KMC wheels. I recommend replacing stock fender flares with thinner ones and fender well liners that go further in so you get less rubbing we replaced our stock fender flares with Paramount Automotive Hydro Series and are super happy with it!

This photo shows after we replaced stock fender flares with Paramount Automotive Hydro Series and Metal Cloak front fender well liners, the back well liners are gone for now till we get new ones. Our LoD rear bumper setup and accessories definitely weighed the back down a bit.

We have 3.5” Metal Cloak Gamechanger with Rocksport sitting in the garage that we plan to install ourselves in a couple of weeks, so we will not have this cool stance any longer, but maygo up to 37s later.
