You bought wrong....my '98 TJ is worth a lot more than that '97 Ram. I always said the same thing: gonna lift that TJ when I get a JL, but it's still too nice to beat offroad. It's seen its share of mud and rocks, but my '75 CJ is going to be my mud buggy. TJ will be the beach cruiser. That is probably true, and probably important to many jeepers. Personally, I offload a vehicle when it's no longer useable. I bought my JL in 2019. My last vehicle purchase before that was 1997.
When I'm done with a ride it doesnt have any resale or trade-in value to speak of, and I dont care. I got $1,000 for my '97 Ram...plus 22 years of satisfactory use.
So the ONLY thing affecting my choices is what I want on it. Thus, when I got the jeep home from the dealer, my first move was taking out the back seat, and second was giving it away. IF I ever wear out the OEM tires, I'll likely get KO2s, because they work well where I live.
With a name like Killroy I expect your profile pic to be the “Killroy was here” doodle of the little guy looking over the fenceStock xr.
no hate, but thanks for checking in...I was merely laughing out loud looking at 60k jeeps being called stock...I guess short of a supercharger and wings, we're all stock then...whateverAnd clearly, you didn’t read what the post said…it said stock, no lift or big tires. They didn’t say bone stock from the factory and yes, I did factory order my vehicle and it’s still stock…stop being a hater. Pretty sure every “stock” vehicle posted in this thread has options on the window sticker.
STOCK is minus all extras, ask websters!Stock is from the factory. You're thinking "base".
Not in the context of vehicles.no hate, but thanks for checking in...I was merely laughing out loud looking at 60k jeeps being called stock...I guess short of a supercharger and wings, we're all stock then...whatever

LOL, if it's stock, why does it cost extra? just be wrong, lolNot in the context of vehicles.
Uh...... you're mistaken. It costs more than base. It's vehicle vernacular. Not basic English language. Stick around the Jeep community and you'll get the lingo.LOL, if it's stock, why does it cost extra? just be wrong, lol
Yea.... sorry dude but stock around these parts means 'as it came from the factory'.no hate, but thanks for checking in...I was merely laughing out loud looking at 60k jeeps being called stock...I guess short of a supercharger and wings, we're all stock then...whatever
