Hello all, I have a 21 Rubicon, I’d very much appreciate photos of BFG All Terrain 315/70-17’s down the side on stock Rubicon wheels. I’d like to see if they protrude beyond the fender flares.
Thank you

They won’t stick out assuming your rims are stock. They’rea little wider than stock KO2’s, but backspacing is what gives the width outside of fender well.

Thanks, I’ll be using my stock OEM wheels, so they should not protrude. I’ll just have to deal with speedometer recalibration, and if the spare will fit without contacting the bumper, as it is now, there’s a little less than 3/4” from the bottom of the tire to the bumper, so it’s likely going to make contact.

Just a heads up, that the 3rd brake light will be hidden from view from anyone behind in a lower vehicle. Also, the tire lightly rubbed the factory steel rear bumper...

Not long after the 315's, I upgraded the factory plastic carrier to a Teraflex Alpha HD for the added strength and its height and depth adjustability. Relocating the 3rd brake light was an added plus...

Thanks so much, your pictures are exactly what I needed. I can clearly see the slight increase in width, without protruding beyond the flares, very nice. I’ll get them ordered tomorrow, as well as the spare tire kit.
Do you notice any difference in performance with the added weight of the larger tires, and did you recalibrate your speedometer?
Thanks again.

Apologies buddy! You didn't reply directly to my post, so I wasn't notified to your questions.

The Jeep barely noticed the change from the original 285's to the 315's. And yes, I have a Tazer Mini that, amongst other things, recalibrated the speedo and realigned the 8-speed autos shift points.
