Decided to name my Jeep Bubba Fett. Green with red accents like Boba Fett’s armor. I will update as I go.

2021 JLUR

Installed the Metalcloak 3.5” Gamechanger lift this weekend. Also added 37” Nexen Rodain MTX tires and 17” DirtyLife beadlocks. A few weeks ago I installed icon front and rear bumpers and my old Warn zeon platinum winch. I will be ordering an Adams Drive shaft for the front soon.

Here are a couple before and after pics with the lift.

Beautiful Jeep! I should be getting my Sarge Green Rubicon today, how are you liking the soft top?
I love the JL soft top. It’s so much easier than the jk. I wish it had the premium top but I’m ok with the basic soft top. When it eventually wears out I’ll upgrade to premium.

If I had gone Sting Gray I was going to use dark red and dark green stripes and accents and call it Fett.

I’ve also added an Adams front drive shaft.

Working on the install of my ARB dual air compressor. I’m using the American adventure labs rear storage mount set up.

also added Oracle flush mount tail lamps.

I’ll post pics of the air compressor mount once I’m done. Along with final Pics of half doors on the Jeep.

I have a friend, who’s a graphics artist, working onthe vinyl graphics for the Jeep. That will be in the spring so I can Install them in warm weather so it’ll be easier to install.

Do you recall how much actual lift you gained from stock? Reason I ask is I just installed a 2.5” True Dual and gained almost 5”. Metalcloak told me it’ll likely settle to about 3.25” after 500-1000 miles. I’m not entirely confident that that’s going to be the case.

To be honest I forgot to measure the before and after. I’m guessing it was around 4-4.5” but quickly settled. Especially after my first two off-roading trips. I purposely stretched it out on some obstacles the work the springs. It’s definitely settled some. I’d guess it’s around the advertised 3.5” of lift. I keep forgetting to measure a stock rubicon. I’ll need to toss a tape measure in the Jeep lol. We have a couple of stock rubicons on the Jeep club.

Here are some crude mock up pics. The yellow cowls will be a darker yellow and the letters on the hood will probably be a little thicker. It’s aurebesh the Star Wars language.

My 2018 measured about 39” from the ground to the bottom of the fender at all 4 corners pre-lift on stock tires.

I’ll try to remember to check mine tonight. I assume you measured on the side of the fenders center of wheel? I was going to measure under the Jeep ground to bottom of frame since I’ve messed with my fenders. But I can measure at the fender and see what the numbers are.
