My intentions for this rig are to keep it fairly basic and reliable. I commute almost 200 miles a day so 35s are about the biggest tire I'm willing to run on the Jeep.

So I'm starting with a 2021 Sport Ecodiesel. Its very bare bones and simple.

Mods so far:

Mopar 2 inch lift with Fox Shocks
Fox Steering Satbilizer
LOD Destroyer Front bumper
Warn Xenon 10s
Custom rock rails

So I new I would need a few basic Items upfront. Time to get started.

The Stock Stabilizer was replaced with a Fox one in the stock location for now.

Not only does this need to be a basic mild build it needed to be budget friendly as well. A picked up a LOD Front bumper from a good friend.

We do alot of Mine exploring here in southern California so I plan on Flat towing the Jeep quite a bit. So cooltech has an Awesome Flat tow harness for the JL that is super easy to install.

I added the port for the umbilical cord in the front Skid plate for easy access.

The Jeep needed a set of basic sliders. I have been running rubi rails with added DOM tubing since 2007 on my JK so it only seemed right to add them to the JL as well. I had a set of Gladiator rubi rails laying around the shop so I cut the extra length off and proceeded to bend up some tubing.

Here you can see the 16 inches that was removed off the back of the JT rail.

Got the tubing bent ready to be cutdown and welded to the rubi rails.

A Quick test fit before adding the center supports and finish welding them.

To finish them up i repainted them with some self etching primer and Raptor Liner coating that comes in the spray can.

Looks good, did I read that right? Your driving 200 miles a day to work or pleasure?
Keeping things simple was my plan, before it took a turn down the money pit road. Good luck on the build.

That is my Wifeā€˜s favorite car, right now we have our jeep and I have a business with trucks. So the mustang is out for now. Here is pic of my jeep, and to tell you the truth. Its my most favorite ride with owning all kinds of high end cars and trucks.

Your Jeep is awesome! I wanted a White Rubi Ecodiesel but after a year of searching I settled for the Sport because the price and drivetrain were right. I do regret getting rid of the Mustang they are great cars and super fun to drive and "Air Out" on I15.

So I decided to try and add power windows to my sport. they work great for a fraction of the price. Sadly its going to take some more experimenting to get the motor to fit behind the door panel. This was the first test fit on the rear. I will revisit this project again soon.

Nothing all that crazy today.

I added the frame tie in brackets from LOD to aide in flat towing the Jeep.

I also added the Synergy Sway Bar disconnects. Really nice kit with a super simple install.

Its a Android T Style radio from Linkswell
thanks! I didnā€™t know those existed. Looks badass. They donā€™t list a price on their site.
how much was that if you donā€™t mind?
How do you like it? I see it wonā€™t work with tazer for the start stop deactivation. Wonder what else doesnā€™t work.
Mostly interested in it for HD cameras.

It like 1200 bucks. It has a start stop hard button on it. Mine stays off permanently with the one button push.

Here is a link with some more info and function's of it.
