Dang, 2012 was a good year.
I love Snazzberry / Deep Cherry Red and Sting Gray (my previous JL) but Black Forest Green was #1 on my wish list. Had it been offered this year instead of Sarge Green, I would probably be spending less time on this thread… ;)
Although with the Rubicon accents Snazzberry probably looks a heck of a lot better than any green. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well the red dashboard works with Snazz.

my first car ever was green. 1976 Buick lesabre coupe. If they had had something other than sarge I would have been with you. I love the copperhead too

I had a 2011. I believe it was called dark cherry pearlcoat????
That could have been it.
It was a beautiful color, especially clean, and with a fresh coat of wax.

That's interesting ! Mine should be here next week and I was concerned that I might have to do a dash change because of the Snazzberry and the metallic red dash !? But they don't look that bad together?

It’s all a matter of personal preference of course, but I think those reds work very nicely together. I was fully prepared to swap for a black leather dashboard with red stitching like someone on this thread did, but I actually like my JLR just the way it is — and I’m the kind of person who had reservations about a red dashboard on blue or green Rubicons, so I can be picky about colors. To me those reds look different and yet somehow coordinated. Here are a few pics in different lighting if it helps (it looks better in real life IMO).

how hard is it to swap dash panels? I got a 392 so it will be the grey and I am thinking of either repainting it bronze to match the 392 accents or snazzy to match the body.

Extreme Terrain sells these overlays in red but they would be easy to paint before installing.

thanks CT. after I posted my original message i started looking at things like that on amazon. I think I may try that as a first step. disconnecting the airbag is the part that intimidates me with the real swap and this way I can practice my painting skills and see how it looks.

If you don’t like it take it off and try again.
