PaintDoes anyone know what F status is? Jeep chat said I was in F and it will again be updated in 7-10 days.
Paint is good. It’s what seperates us from the others.Thank you!
I've been obsessing about this.I like the idea of the black front grille, but I'm concerned that it won't look quite right. There were a couple of photos of a white JL with a black front, like in the product page, but that must have been painted. The actual part is completely black, including the trim that goes from the side of the lights down along the bottom...(where the hood meets the grille). I'm concerned that this will not look nearly as good as we think.
Instead, I think I would rather change the inserts to have red accents, like this link:

Sergio said it dropped in at 11 pm on 4/18. So does that mean my jeep will be shipped early next week if all goes well?Paint is good. It’s what seperates us from the others.
It takes about three days to build from the gate line date if all goes well. Who knows how often Jeep shat is updated.

That is with the Rubicon gray trim. So for me to get that look on my sport I would have to buy the trim kit and have it painted. Here’s someone’s photo shop.
Well no, it will depend on options. Some are installed off site, and it takes some shuffling to get it there. You’re getting closer though!Sergio said it dropped in at 11 pm on 4/18. So does that mean my jeep will be shipped early next week if all goes well?
So... Hate to rain on anyone's parade (including my own), but the one the allmoparparts is showing with photos of the show grille is listed on multiple other websites as an applique. I think it's a sticker, not an actual grille.I've been obsessing about this.
There are 3 parts to the grill.
The first is the grill itself. The part you showed is not the one I am looking at. That is a replacement grill primed to be painted the color of your Jeep.
There is another grill which is the Mopar satin black grill they put on all their show vehicles. Probably the same grill just painted satin black instead of black primer but I am not sure.
The second part is the grill trim kit. It looks like this:
This is black primer. it is silver on the Sahara and I think granite or something similar on the Rubicon.
The third part is the mesh insert which is black.
Hmm. For $280 it should be the grill. If not I can buy the $230 grill and have it painted satin black.So... I thought i read somewhere that the headliner goes to a third party to get done. I am also getting the tow package. I don't believe there is anything else that should delay it.Well no, it will depend on options. Some are installed off site, and it takes some shuffling to get it there. You’re getting closer though!
Well, considering the Mopar "Mountain Side Graphic" that I want is around $215, the price seems along the same lines...Hmm. For $280 it should be the grill. If not I can buy the $230 grill and have it painted satin black.
