Ok I’m freaking out now.

1) my wheels are almost done, and it could be the lighting but the color looks way different.



2) I just found out my company owner is selling his 2016 JK (6,000 miles on it) that he put $65K into

Supercharged engine
4” lift
37” tires
Rhino lined the whole exterior
Custom light bar
Ferrari leather interior
Custom stereo.

Shipping to Houston tomorrow said I could have it for $45 to save him the trouble but need an answer by 7am tomorrow

Problem is I’d prolly have to eat my $1,000 deposit
I’m already $3K deep in wheels and tires
I’d have to sell my GMC Terrain I was going to trade in
And get a loan to finance the Jk.

All in all it might just be a little too last minute to pull off this deal. I dunno man, so conflicted at the moment. If I’d known last week before I bought the wheels and had them painted, and have more time to get my ducks in a row so to speak it’s a no brainer.

@Schmeegz I would not go for the JK at this time. There have been a lot of improvements to the JL that I think you will regret if you were to go for this JK. Great deal for sure though. I was in a similar situation and ultimately knew I was going to miss out on all the new benefits of the JL that made me trade my JK in the first place.

So the dealer said my JLUR would ship on 4/19. Still in D-1. I check jeep.com and between yesterday and today 6 OB sports are not in transit within 150 miles or Portland OR. Still hoping for early May delivery.

From what I was told by my dealer and what I have somewhat confirmed from other posts is that the "ship" date is actually the date they will start building it. I know seems "odd" to say it nicely. I am in D1 and have a ship date of 4/21. When did you order yours?

I'll be happy with a ship date of Thursday. Just looked again on jeep. now there is 7 on the way. all sports.

I'd wait to freak out until you see it in person. The Ocean Blue definitely has many colors depending on lighting, and sun angle. That pic looks like it was in his shop or office, probably standard fluorescent light bulbs. That's no comparison to being outside.
