Put Top-lift Pro together.

I am on the TLP bandwagon also
Started with hooks and straps route and then switched to TLP.

you can hook it up to your battery or just buy one and have it dedicated for that wench, which I will probably do

I thought about both. Hooking up to battery would be too much of a PITA for my liking. Dedicated battery would have been what I would have gone with. Will need a trickle charger or something to keep it charged

Thai was my JK, but it will work in the JL too. I just haven’t taken the top off yet. Harken Hoist

I had a few requirements. I travel for work so my Wife needed to be able to get it on and off herself. It couldn’t take up a ton of room in the garage. Would like for it to not be seen when not in use. She can park front end underneath it when it’s stowed.

with inspiration from other builds on here I went with the winch in the attic build.
