Front Fender Flares and Debris Thrown On Sides: Anyone Else Experiencing This?

JL Rubicon Front Fender Flares are allowing the tires to throw debris up on the lower portion of the doors. Anyone else experiencing this? And have you found a solution?

I caught that too and installed the Mopar step sides which eliminated the problem. Out side of that was considering mud flaps.

Which side step did you use? There seems to be 3 different version. 2 of them seem like they might block the mud splatter.
