Thanks Bud. I had a Bright White Rubi that took the red accents quite well. I feel like the Sarge Green can't - so I'm glad that I went conservative. I did the speaker covers in the Flame Red just to have some accent in the back as well.

Had some fun out in the garage yesterday. I decided to to over-do the red. Wouldn't mind some feedback on if I made the right choice - Sarge Green to replace the "Rubi Red" (my opinion Salmon) dash panels with Flame Red accents vice Flame Red with Sarge green accents... see what you think.

I color matched painted it. I ordered the paint from Automotive Touchup. I sanded, and then cleaned, then used their adhesion promoter, then primed and sanded three times, let set, then painted and sanded x 2; then did their topcoat.

The only real trouble I got into - I disconnected all wires from the battery like I was advised...but all the lights still came on when I would open a door? I do have the diesel, but i don't see any other battery. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? What did I miss? Luckily, noting shorted or through any codes. The other thing was the small trim piece between the grab handle and separation between where the airbag and piece above the glovebox - it is bent outward as it seems to be a strange piece of plastic. I guess I'll have to pull it off again and try to use a heat gun to warm it up and reshape it. It is also very easy to break some of the little clips, both on the metal and the hard plastic tabs that hold them.

Finally took off the red decals on my Rubicon and traded the wheels for Moab wheels. I love how it turned out!

were you able to get the red off the Jeep and Trail badges or did you have to take them off and replace with new ones?
