I’m going with the Ultimate Dana 60’s. Talked to several guys running them and they all Seem like them. Plus it’s not a 8-10 week wait Dynatrac. I always wanted a set of Dynatracs but also more money.
Guess then we will see the wheels on the market :)

I don’t know that you would say hard...but yes we play.

The reason I’m not making those changes is because I decided that while it would no doubt make the axles stronger, I feel like it’s just a matter of time before something gives. After all... these are still 44’s. I’ve seen the guys with busted axles on the trail just putting things back together at the end of the day when you come back by. It’s not fun so... I ordered a set 60’s.

A other reason I decided to go to 60’s is because I already know my next set of tires will be 40’s. So why spend the money on these axles only to spend more down the road. I’ll sell these axles and put that money towards the new ones and I’m set

Smart if you're running 39s/40s. :handsinair:

They don’t make any noise but I didn’t like the way the bottom flapped at highway speed. So I took the brace that was in there with the factory liner and modified it to fit in the chopped fender. So far it’s holding up great, and the fender doesn’t budge......

Do you mind sharing which part you repurposed for this? I also did the AAL chop kit and I hung onto the old parts. I also notice they flap too much for my taste. I got the retention hardware kit and I highly recommend it...much stronger than those white clips.

Sure..... it’s the brace that was in the same location on factory inners. I just cut it back so it would tuck back in there better. Sorry for th crappy pic, lol. If you need particulars on how I did it , you can pm me. And If you send pic of it from looking down at it , I can draw on it the way I cut it.

AEV 2.5 inch Dualsport suspension, AEV (JK) Salta 17x8.5 wheels and BF Goodrich 37x12.50x17 KO2s.

I've got the @lodoffroad Destroyer on the front and back, with a Warn VR Evo 10s Winch to round it out.

I've been waiting a whole year to post in this thread!

After a couple years of envy, we finally broke down and got 37s. I’ve probably been from front to back on this thread (and others) more than once, so a big shout out to all of you contributors who post pics and provide inspiration to pull from the kids’ college fund and pour it into a Jeep. Man have tires gotten expensive since my TJ days!

Here’s our JL on 37x12.50r17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires, Teraflex spacers (2” front, 1.5” rear), and Metal Cloak Rock Sport shocks. Factory wheels with no wheel spacers. 2” OME bumps. Still need to do a shake down run off-road. We had a little control arm rub but a minimal steering stop adjustment fixed that issue and it was not a noticeable change on turning radius. We really love these tires. The tread is deeper than some mud terrains (20/32”) and they are quiet too.
We ordered the Rugged Ridge tire carrier but got impatient staring at the empty tailgate today and pulled the rear bumper so that the spare could fit on the factory carrier. I was surprised to find out that the 3rd brake light bracket would adjust high enough to accommodate the 37.

I’m struggling to. I’m thinking MC3.5 with 37’s but worried about it too high. But then I see pics where I love it. Be sure you post your yours when finished.
