Anyone in here running the 315/70r17 KO2 on stock wheels with no lift and no spacers? I have seen posts with Rubicons doing that, but not sure if the MOAB and Rubi have the same clearance. Allegedly we have the same suspension but Rubi fenders are higher? If I can run with no spacers I'd like to. Thanks in advance!
Rubicons have a Dana 44 front axle witch is little wider and that’s why they clear 315s no problem but MOAB will rub on the lower control arm when you make a full lock turn

I'm running 35/12.5/17 and it's perfect for what I use it for. Have had the wheel fully locked and never rubbed. No lift, no level of any sort. All stock! And the spare fits perfectly on the back as well!

Here is a picture when I mounted mine on stock suspension and no spacers, this is with the steering wheel turned all the way not holding it at lock, it seems that it clears but if you hold the steering wheel at the lock position it did rub. But we drove ours for a week while I was waiting on spacers.

Ok that's what I needed to know. I am planning on driving it for a bit with just the 35s before I add anything else. Its a personal preference deal, I don't like tires that stick way out so I was trying to avoid spacers.

Eventually I am thinking the Dynatrac 2 inch but that will be a few months down the road.

Those with 35s how’s your gas mileage looking like? This is our only car and will be used to travel everywhere including like 12-14 hour road trips. Just wanna see if I should jump to 35s or keep my freebie 33s. This will be a KO2 tire.

Could you adjust the steering stops instead of using spacers?

I put on the 315 KO2 load C on my stock wheels and added 1.75 spacers. No lift or leveling. I can’t believe how much of a difference the KO2 is from the stock KM3. Like driving a different Jeep. I shouldn’t have waited so long to switch them.

The KM’s ran rough for me. A little too rough for DD activities. First “mod” I did about two weeks ago after I bought my MOAB was to pull wheels & tires and sell them off. Here is the latest:
2” AEV lift with its geometry correction brackets
MOPAR Bead Lock wheels w/powder-coated rings
P285/70R17 TOYO Open Country AT3 (too early to comment)
Magnaflow axle-back muffler (next week)
Go Rhino Dominator D1 sidesteps (when I get time)
MOPAR black grill (also when I have time)
Warn Winch (waiting for my decision on winch plate)

Happy so far; love the MOAB and the Mojito color.

Have a terrific and safe Memorial Day weekend all!

Looks awesome! I really do love the Mojito. Looks super sharp. Post pics of the winch and plate for sure when you’re done. That’s on my list.

Will do. Still trying to figure out the differences in the various winch plates. Looking at seven (7) plates and they range in price from about $190 all the way up to $400; in weight from 19 pounds to over 40 pounds. Bulldog and Rusty’s supposedly “do not move the bumper forward.” Not really sure how that works or what difference that will mean in the long run. Anyone that wants to chime in, PLEASE DO! I am completely open to recommendations.

Tatarin got me thinking on the PPF so I called and having some of the impact areas on the MOAB done in early June. Every time I come back to this thread it costs me more money. LOL. And I haven’t even gotten to the lights or the interior yet! Worst of all, this is the Mrs‘ daily driver for now while I am relegated to my ‘16 JKU (& ‘05 TJ). Oh well, happy wife, happy life.

 I try not to visit the forum until I’m ready to spend money! From what I gathered when buying my winch plate is that if the bumper moves forward than you have to modify the skid plate to make it fit right, also some plates make you cut brackets off the frame. Rusty’s I found is priced perfectly, and is great quality material and powder coat and it’s a one piece design which I think is important.
