I was just informed by my local dealer that the $500 Military & First Responder incentives are not applicable to the Rubicon model, possibly switching to a Rubicon on the lot instead of waiting forever for my special order Max Tow Sport S. Can someone deny or confirm this? I called the number for FCA incentives and the person who answered I believe knew less than me. Thanks in advance!

All the major incentives I've seen over the last year have been on the Sport model. The Rubicon sells well enough that they don't feel the need to offer incentives, yet. That may change, depending on how sales are after the country is open again.

I got the military discount on the Rubi here in Ohio, but that was in October so maybe things have changed. Considering the current state of affairs, I would hope FCA would apply further discounts for military and first responders versus limiting the models that it applies to.

500 dollars is a probably only a1% discount on a rubi probably. if they won’t give you that you should probably find a different dealer. I get that there aren’t a lot of Discounts on jeeps but seriously that’s just greedy. Drive further away from base the farther you get the more patriotic the civies get.

I have no doubt you can find a dealer in your area who would extend a military discount to a Rubicon. Wouldn’t bother with a dealership that wouldn’t do this for you. I’d skip the brand entirely if I thought it was not possible.

It is bullshit, but true.

That sucks @FCA. But, I would still push for it at a dealer, as they have latitude. Try toward the end of a month when dealers are trying to meet their monthly sales goal.

On the other hand, it does seem that people have been negotiating better than the discounts, but I may be wrong in my assumption.

I would guess that most if not all dealers won’t make that number!

Ditto for here in Oklahoma on an October order.

I'm retired and received. FCA required a DD 214 as evidence of military connection.
