Can I get a few opinions on where to start with tire pressure as I pick up my Gladiator for the first time ?!

I’ll be purchasing my Billet Silver Sport S tomorrow morning. I’ll have a 1500 mile drive home and I’d like to get a headstart on the Gladiator’s overall ride/drive/wander I’ve seen mentioned here on the Forum.

What’s the best Tire Pressure to start with ? I’ve read here and there about the different dealer tire pressures found upon taking ownership ... what’s the best recommended pressure to begin my journey home with ?

Max Tow with the accompanying All Terrain 245/75R17 tire option.

Thanks in advance for the advice and perspective. I’ll post again when I’m officially an owner in the drivers seat with the top down heading West !

Let’s Roll ...

When i picked up my JTR, dealer had them at 41psi. I have found 37 to work best for me.

Mine was around 41 and I could tell it was riding rough. Got them all down to 36 and I've not had any complaints about the ride.

Like others say, 36/37 cold. During your drive they will go up about 4 psi.

If you are getting on one of those germ infested tin cans to travel to the dealership you are a braver man than me

Safe travels,and post pics.

What does the door sticker say? It has the tire pressure according to the GVWR of the vehicle. Going over/under will affect tire wear but slightly over inflated will help gas mileage.

35/36it will climb alot on a drive like that. You could try to run lower for. Better ride. The dash is suprisingly accurate but only refreshes every so often.

Ive always run 38-40 cold and been personally happy. I also find i get better mpg in that range instead of 32-36 cold range.
