Great point. Yellow stands out and is so bright and cheery, although it is terrible for camouflage.Just think how much less happiness that picture would have without that yellow jeep to provide a little cheer.
Any side shots? 35” or 315s?Three weeks in the making! AEV wheels, AEV 2.5" lift, JCR Off-road Bumpers, JCR wheel carrier, Warn ZEON Platinum Winch, six Rigid LED rock lights . . . . what a hella yella of a project! Used the AUX switches on the tow package to setup a relay interlock for the winch so I can power that from the inside. Rock lights are setup on a circuit as well. A new set of backup spots. Tomorrow I need to work on plate brackets. Since the rear wheel is back-lit w/ the brake light, I didn't want to put the plate in the wheel. I can't imagine spending as much as I did for those AEV's and cover them up with a license plate! I also custom fabricated a load of mods on the JCR wheel carrier which was very poorly engineered. Matter of fact, of all the things I installed, that was the only one that I regret purchasing; the JCR Wheel Carrier is the pits. The workmanship of the bumpers is very nice, but the engineering of the wheel carrier product is awful. The AEV stuff was spot on however in all aspects, very impressive.
Here are one before, and a couple 'afters'. I still need to get one in the dark w/ the rock lights.
These are BFG 35x12.5's on the AEV 17" rimsAny side shots? 35” or 315s?
Looks relaxing!
They had to have designed the lift for 37s. Yours looks good tho. Would you say you netted 3.5” or so?These are BFG 35x12.5's on the AEV 17" rims
Here's a Side shot. Getting into it feels tall, and certainly goes from a slip in, to a climb in vehicle w/ the lift and tires. My swaet pea is all but 5'1", and . . . well lets just say I'm happy to help her with a little 'boost'.
You would think so, but in reality it was brutal. We went down a path that we thought we connect to the main road, but it just kept deteriorating and then finally ended. Everyone got extremely beaten up by all the bumps, and the wife bashed her head against the B pillar. Spent 3 hours going the wrong direction. Ended up choosing a less bumpy path to return on, but it took longer. The whole trip took 8.5 hours. I don't think the family wants to go out again for a while.Looks relaxing!
I now measure 43 inches to the bottom of each wheel well. That netted me 3 inches on the money. I’m within a quarter inch from front to backThey had to have designed the lift for 37s. Yours looks good tho. Would you say you netted 3.5” or so?
Where did you find the windshield clamps?Hello Spring!! Going to 80Ëš here in Southern Arizona. Running around locally with the front window down. I need to look up the rules here in Arizona.
I bought them from a local dealer, but they are available from other auto parts locations like Quadratec. I am only providing the sites with a price of $29.99 or lower. Here are some links:Where did you find the windshield clamps?
Great image with the palm trees in silhouette. In Arizona we would get a saguaro cactus.Hi all! Super-excited to be making my first post here. I picked up a new 2020 JL Willys from Rydell in San Fernando this afternoon! First Jeep ever! (used to off-road in Bronco IIs and Explorers years ago, glad to get back to it!)
Managed to capture this in a parking lot on the way home.
