Has anyone used the Warn power interrupt kit with a Smittybuilt X20 winch?

I did a similar setup with a high amp solenoid activated by AUX4 last year on my JL.

Does it matter which of the two small terminals is connected to the aux switch and which is the ground?

Quick question for you folks who have installed the warn power interrupt. When you wire to one of your aux switches and the switch is in the OFF position does the warn inter put get hot to the touch (I.e. is it drawing current from the battery at all). As you can tell, I have no idea about ‘lectricity stuff.

Still no power at the AUX 3 wire?
The problem turned out to be the solenoid itself. I had a second solenoid on hand because I was going to do the exact same thing for my wife's Jeep, and when I swapped in the new one, it worked perfectly. Reached out to @warn to see about getting the defective device replaced. Hope they have good customer service!

Also I want to make sure I wired this correctly,

Two large studs: one to battery pos, the other one to winch pos.
Two small nipples: one to aux, the other one to frame ground.

So it does not matter which side of stud/nipple, right? Do I need to connect one small nipple to battery neg, or frame ground is enough.

According to the instruction in my Warn kit, it does not matter which large post you use for To Battery and From Winch. For the Auxiliary wire, it is the right small post (as you look at the solenoid) and the To Negative is the small left post. The instructions stated to wire the To Negative to the battery Negative terminal. I wired my Negative to the battery.

I have attached a picture of my install. It is taken from the top down, so the Aux wire connection is on the left and negative on the right. After programming the UConnect settings, my winch works just fine.

Thank you. Did you use self tap screw to mount the bracket to the body?

Yes, I used two #10 x ½ self tappers.

I got ones at my local Home Depot. I like the stainless versions you're using better.
They were recommended by someone else on these forums. I can't recall who, so I'll just credit the 'forum' itself.
