I just got the Mopar wheels and 35 Toyos installed today on my Sport and really like the “stuffed” look. I’m wanting to keep it a relatively low center of gravity build with stock fenders (for now).

Advice on adding a 3/4” day star spacer front and rear just for a little extra room and then also the falcon bump stops ? I also have Rubi take off shocks. I don’t do serious off-road but I do live in Colorado so I do venture into the mountains so I don’t wanna rip off my fenders going over small dips. I don’t want a lot of height and the Jeep looks level to me currently . I assume the bump stops will help that?

The other option is a 3/4 rear and 1/2 front spacer since the 2doors tend to sag the rear. I wish someone made a 1” rear (this is to you TeraFlex)

That’s something I’ll look into. anyone see any other glaring problems with my LCG plan?

I don't know how anything could be wrong...ramp it and bump stop it accordingly and you should be fine.

Personally I'd go easy on underside armor 'cause it all eats up ground clearance...but you've got a superior break over with a 2 door so high centering is much less of a concern

I don’t see any information on those bump “stops” as far as how much they will yield. If they fully compress under the weight of the Jeep then that’s not going to help you.

You need rigid bump stops, at least 2” front and rear on a sport with 35x12.50s and some poke. And you generally want to raise your ride height equal or greater than the amount of bump stop you add.

I know you said you didn’t want to touch the fenders but that seems like a much better option to me. Mopar sells a kit (82215742AC) that includes everything you need, and then you can go on Craigslist and pick up a rubi take off rear plastic bumper for ~$50 so the end caps match the rear fenders.

Thanks for the advice I ordered some TeraFlex spacers to get about 1” of extra clearance and I’ll add some hockey pucks to the bumps after I install and test on some ramps if needed.

Unless your catching air and landing hard, fender contact at low speed typically won't hurt them, they will flex. You may not need to do anything

Ended up using the 1/2” teraflex spacers stacked to 1” on all four corners and also added the falcon bump stops. Did the “hockey puck mod” on the rear to add an extra inch to the bump stop to keep the fenders in place. The front didn’t contact so I’m fine there. Here is the final product I love the way it came out hopefully this helps someone.
