Got the new mopar wheels and 35s put on today! I will be doing a small spacer lift (I think, something wants me to keep it a low center of gravity build since it looks level to me) and longer bump stops to keep my fenders in place but so far no rubbing on the road. Other than the spare tire rubbing on the bumper a little when you close it but we will just call that “extra support”

Finally managed to knock off the biggest piece of slag I've ever seen and got my hitch installed!

Fought for awhile to get something fished through the frame to run the power write up to the battery but gave up when it started getting dark lol

Back up on the ramps. Had to check out if my rk track bar, yeti draglink, and synergy tie rod all play well together. Looks like everything is behaving.

I just piddled around today with the new Jeep.
  • It's a two door cloth top and I practiced opening and closing the rear window a few times. (Don't laugh please. I have arthritis in my left thumb so I was trying to find the easiest way to loosen and reinstall the retainers.)
  • I removed the rear seat and stored it in the basement.
  • I was going to slide in a full length cargo mat but discovered the the vendor sent me a mat for a four door. Instead I asked for return authorization and reordered the correct mat.
  • Installed Mopar black plastic door sill covers.
  • Played around with custom configuring the info displayed in the instrument panel. Finally went back to the default.
  • Installed an Orca MOLLE EMT pouch on the back of the passenger seat. Now we have to purchase the first aid goodies to go in it.
  • Last but not least - I checked all the fuses and relays in the fuse box to be sure that they were fully seated.
Later,
Johnny
not laughing either...my wrists are probably not far behind Your thumbs.

No rubbing, it’s real close, but I have Artec inner liners, which helps. I’m pretty sure I would rub if I turn the wheel, but I think when I do AAL fender chop kit, I will be clear. Here’s close up....

Im still running 3” in the rear, I’m afraid the driveshaft would hit the gas tank with 2” It gets close now, but doesn’t touch........

I think if I had the Adams1350 driveshaft, I would be ok, it’s smaller diameter. But that’s further down the mod list, lol.........:)

Thanks for the pics, I was just looking at that driveshaft myself. It would match my front lol but like you I have other things I want to get first....like a new clutch.

Installed the @Bestop Sunrider for hardtop on the other half's Sahara this morning, there are fitment issues not he Drivers side with the fabric. The drivers side fabric is not fitting all the way in the channel and has a decent size gap especially at the rear corner. The passenger side is fine. Anyone else have this issue? The first two photos are the passenger side and the last two are the drivers side.

Actually, they are pretty good. I have two, one on the JK and one on the JL. The JK's is very good, but the JL's is superior. And price? Lol, these aren't inexpensive.

I'd love to see them made in USA, but they aren't. If there was a good quality alternative that was, I'd certainly buy it, if not outrageously more expensive.

For the price they should be made in the USA, the other one (one of the original pre-orders) never had this issue. Still one of the best mods out there.

but, let us know what You think of the orca pouch.
The pouch is well made, lots of pockets, looks nice and is attached with a velcro backing to the pad with the MOLLE strips. Makes it easy to detach the pouch and take it where needed. Also, the straps on the pad matched up perfectly, spacing wise, with the loops on the seat back.

Later,
Johnny
