I received my OB JLUR back in November of 19'. It has the sky one touch with the removable rear panels. Right away I noticed that one panel is slightly off colour, almost darker than the rest of the Jeep. I brought it up to the dealer but they said it would blend as the sun got to it. Ok, no big deal. I kind of forgot about it. But as more ppl are admiring my Jeep they were noticing the same thing. So i brought it back to the dealer, they acknowledged it, took pics and sent them to FCA. FCA has given the go ahead to repaint the panel. The issue is they are having a hell of a time matching the paint. Because of the different material used, hard top material, I guess its a hard job to do. Has anyone here had paint matching issues and has FCA been able to alleviate this or should I just live with it?

You can see it in this picture. Don't mind the neighbourhood deer.

Thanks!

I feel for you, that would really irritate me. Are replacement rear window (frames) available pre-painted? I’d so, you might try that route. If not, you might ask your dealer to have a specialist paint shop handle this, one with an excellent color matchist.

Definitely not. That would drive me nuts. Yes, the issue is the difference in material between the window panels and other parts of the vehicle. You can probably see it slightly when you look closely at the side cowl pieces, which are plastic, compared to the aluminum fenders. Does the dealer have another Ocean Blue vehicle with One Touch that you can possibly swap the panels from? If not, definitely push for a 3rd party high end shop to color match.

I'm in Canada, it was $68k. The service advisor in the paint department is out sick so i'm asking for a third party to paint it today, If I can get out.
