So I currently have a two-door sport I am Wheeling on a budget
So currently the mistakes that I've made and the progress that I'll show is what this thread will try to track cuz I know not all Jeepers can throw 2 grand suspension every two years

So a big question i had since im going to be doing over landing is will springs from bigger jeeps fit, and they will with one catch,
The gladiator sport S doesnt have a sleeve up top like my sport shock does so it is not direct bolt on up front, you will need JLUR or JLU for direct front suspension
HOW EVER the rear is direct bolt up and gives about an inch... also stiff as rocks, good for highway... not so much for backs

So, up date number 3

The set up i have currently is JT (sport S trim) front springs in the rear, direct bolt up a bit stiffer but its what i want.
I have 4 rear JLU shocks one on each corner, i have rear JLU shocks in the front of JL so i get about an inch and a bit all the way around, and the fronts chin is up so i dont have factory rake. I have gone off roading... it is much better.

This week end i take my rear seat out and start looking at how in gonna set up my over landing stuff, i have a power chiller going in, a camp stove and am gonna set up a small roadside cubbie or 2 with bottle jack(s) my impact and sockets/ wrenches for my brake sliders, lugs along with common other lugs (my sisters car is 19mm)

So update 4

I have my rear seat out, my springs and shocks work way better with weight on, I was towing yesterday and it worked like a dream, my next up grade is frankening a bumper together out of rubi and sport parts (you can buy just the middle section of rubi bumper and 2 brackets and everything else will fit, so fog lights, etc etc)
My rear bumper also tows awesome so happy for that and my average fuel was 14.6L/100 loaded down so still not terrible i expect to be around 16L/100 when i jump to 285/70/17s with my trailer sporting 265/70/17s

Currently also running my dual battery set up, excuse the mess.

Jeep Wrangler JL Budget building, mistakes I've Made and progress on my build 20201213_075844

But currently running 103AH AGM, fed by a renogy DC-DC charger that is the 40amp model, i also have it daisey chained via anderson plugs to a 32AH in my trailer.

The only tricky thing is the D+ wire but i think im going to run that to the positive battery terminal and just run a switch so i dont have to worry about battery drainage.

The fridge is a unique 45L fridge freezer and i love it. It works awesome
