Speaking of right off the truck, how about not quite off the truck?

EDIT: Picking up tomorrow. Hopefully... IF my wife can find her title to trade in her '03 Z4 3.0L. :p

Cool that you were able to see your jeep on the truck!

I hope that she finds it. I lost my title once and it turned out that the truck was still registered to the finance company even though I had paid it off years earlier. Now that I think about it, I'm assuming that they never sent me a title. I had to go to the Secretary of State on Elston multiple times to get it corrected. I guess only Elston in Chicago and Elgin deal with it. I tried at Schaumburg originally.

This color makes me almost want to trade my Gator JTR in for a Sarge JLR... Now I wonder how much the dealer would offer me on trade lol.

Off topic, but did you ever work for a large national bank?

Wow, that really looks sharp. Congrats!
Thanks for the pics in the sun.
It looks very different in all phases of daylight. I have definitely gotten alot of stares and compliments in the first day of ownership. I am very happy to have waited for Sarge green to make it into production rather than settling on Sting Gray.

I really like the 4-door with the black contrasting fenders and roof. I did the same thing and hoping it gets here next week, I did the same thing. I think the 2-door looks best all green.

The contrast definitely looks better.

Picked up the Sarge today. Apparently, the salesman had to hide it in a garage because there was so much interest in it. Indeed, it was still in the garage when we picked it up.

They had one Sarge Green on the lot before mine, but it only lasted one day.

(The little white spots in the pic are snow).

EDIT: "The Sarge..." I like that. I have never named a vehicle, but might start calling it that.

I added the satin black grille for two reasons, contrast and cosmetic value. I thought it would resist chipping better than paint when rocks and road debris hit the front end. Furthermore, if it gets ugly looking, I can swap it out rather than having to pay a body shop to paint it.
