The V41 Recall was done on my JLUS, but the "Bulge" on the dampener is NOT facing downward as the bulletin states it "Must" do. Would this cause it to NOT function properly and allow shimmy at 70+moh?

Hi Steven,
Although our team cannot offer technical advice, if you decide to visit your dealer for further clarification, feel free to loop us in via private message. We'd be happy to connect you with a Case Specialist.

Dealer refusing to do TSBs - really? I have had a list of issues and since its pain to get to my dealer I held off and tried to collect them all together trying to make this easy....not turning out this way. I was told that unless the TSB is identified on their computer system for my vehicle they will not do it. This seems nuts.

- Update to Uconnect Software Version 1810.2 - refused TSB 08-012-18
- Rear backup camera Screen / display issues - refused TSB 08-127-18
- Rear washer Nozzle Leaking - refused TSB 23-040-18
- Off Road Pages Update - refused TSB 08-001-19
- HVAC System Update - Intermittent blast of warm air - refused TSB 24-006-19

I am hoping someone might be able to tell me if the information the dealer is stating is true? I did look on their computer and the TSB were not visible...but that doesn't mean I don't have the same problems nor does it mean they don't have the solution. But what I am wonder is if TSB are only done by groups of VIN numbers as the dealer is stating. I can't imagine this is true.

JEEP not caring much right now. JEEP Cares???? HELP?

I asked for the noisy HVAC fan. They just asked about my circumstances and applied it even though it wasn't listed. Made a world of difference. I'd find a different dealer or work with @JeepCares if you have specific concerns mentioned in the TSB.

So my 2019 JLU Sahara has had warnings for Front Collision not working, ACC not working, ESS not working and engine will shut down soon over last year and half. And yes mine did shut down on me once. Changed map sensor twice and still going on. Only had 16000 miles too. Was told by dealership after multiple fixes they talked to corporate and they knew of motor shutting off problems and had a bulletin about fixing it. So his this total BS or are they really trying to figure this stuff out. I have a 4 year old in my Jeep everyday, they better figure out soon or will have a 20 year multiple Jeep owner gone for life.

Kind of disappointed, I never had these issues with Ford, we own two Wranglers this is my third Jeep. Will have to drive an hour South to a friendly Dealer to get the TSB done.

I brought up to the dealer my Jeep wandered to the right when it was stock, even on a long trip on a hot summer night in FL while stock my steering got disabled because of the steering box, some car stopped dead on I95 and because of the heat and the steering box malfunction of its electronics from the heat I could not turn and almost plowed into them. Back then the TSB Bulletin was not a thing, and when asking it was its a Jeep thing deal with it to put on a lift, larger wider tires it will help a great deal. It did, just long drives of 5-7hrs the Jeep would start to wander again as the steering box and its electronics heat up.

Well the dealer I got my Jeep from said they would do it I qualified after having to argue with the service rep that I did qualify, they found every excuse to get out of it. Got my jeep back dirty, no explanation of what was done to get rid of all the lights that popped up other than the seat belt harness. Had to ask the cashier if the TSB was done. She looked and said no, then gave a list of reasons the tech gave one of them my spacers magically grew wider. Telling me they didn't want to work or do it. Drove it home on the pavement and right away it was wandering to the right on its own for the first time since I got my lift.

Called Jeep Cares, I told them everything, even gave them proof, the service manager lied to them, gets caught in the lie with the invoice, and all the text messages sent to me from the dealer, emailed to Jeep Cares. Then my dealer switches to a different one again as I get a new agent, they did not read the notes or anything I sent. Takes the service managers word for it.

Sadly I never had this issue with Ford even with my Frankenstein 1200hp Mustang. It was way past the warranty but had Warranty-Recall-Service bulletin type work that had to be done concerning my safety. I could not make it in, they show up to my house and perform all the work in my driveway, when there were finished my Mustang was better than when they showed up no questions asked and no hassle to jumping though hoops. So here I am with Jeep, the dealer and Jeep Cares over a week later I think maybe closer to two weeks. Have not gotten anywhere on an issue that also concerns my safety per the TSB page one at the bottom other than the runaround and having to repeat myself again and again. If I had the computer to flash my Jeep I would just buy the new steering box with bolts and flash the thing myself. I love my Jeeps do not get me wrong. This is my third and we bought two back to back in over a year.

Just be wary with Jeep Cares they really apparently cannot do anything if the dealer service department lies, will not read notes transfer you to new reps, and drag you though un-needed hassle the dealer is also putting you though. Best to be very selective on what dealer you deal with, and if your not and its something important concerning safety they should be doing but wont. You may not be able to count on Jeep Cares as well sadly. I was having high hopes Jeep Cares would take care of me, as it stands now? Nope. The rep on here is trying to the best of their abilities to help, but if the dealer is doing what its doing. Not much they can do sadly.

I just got a notice about recall Y10:

"A cracked fuel supply line connector may leak gasoline into the engine compartment. Uncontained gasoline in the engine compartment can result in a vehicle fire which increases the risk of injury to occupants and persons outside the vehicle, as well as property damage."

Has anyone else received this? The PDF on the site isn't working. I'll make an appointment to get this addressed.
