or filter (better have a BUNCH of them as you can’t leave for a year or more to buy additional ones........
You can filter 7000 gal with a set of Berkey filters. So for a year they are good for about 20gal a day!

if you fill your trailer with food and toilet paper, where does all the ammo go to fight off the zombies????
30/50cal cans are amazing for storing stuff and moving easily. they are solid, can hold a lot of weight, can support a lot of weight, stack, and seal tightly. Great for more than just ammo.

1000 rounds of 5.56 fits in a 50cal can and weighs about 35lbs. A loaded 30rd magazine weighs about 1lb, you can fit 14 of them in a 50cal can and that weighs about 20lbs for 420 rds. You can fit 2000rds of 9mm but that is damn heavy to move so stick to 30cal cans, 1000/can. So in reality ammo/mags don't take up that much room. Hell I can fit an SBR, 500rds of loose 5.56, and 500rds of loaded mags into a 3-day backpack and still have room for other items if needed. It's a tad heavy, but the room it takes up is small in the back of a car/truck. And yes, I know it is impractical to transport ammo on foot that way, or at least that much isn't necessarily needed, it was just tinkering around with limits (my own and my gear)

Several thousand rounds don't take up much room but weight would be the issue. Having watched many zombie movies, I wonder if I can now justify larger tires and a lift to the spouse? Gotta have clearance and articulation for driving over the stacks of dead zombies.
Do regular bullets work on zombies?

No, you have to pee on them first Duh, I thought everyone knew that.
This could be a problem in a survival situation if you're dehydrated. Stay safe out there, stay hydrated.

Not true. If you are the kind of Jeep owner that actually off-roads then you know where the public land for trails is

Well, as I mentioned earlier, COVID-19 is for real & the flu has been no joke this season either. Fortunately for most of us on this forum, we live in the USA. A lot of reason for the "high" death tolls in these pandemic & epidemic illnesses, is due to the healthcare in certain countries of the world. What I mean by this is those countries either don't have good medical facilities & healthcare in general, or the government of that country gets to tell who gets to survive & who doesn't. Take the dictatorships, communist, & most socialist countries out there, their government decides who gets the healthcare & who doesn't. So, you see those countries are holding the healthcare only for their elite. So, you're always going to see higher death tolls in those countries. Just like the under developed countries, they are going to have high death tolls. So, there is a lot to be extrapolated from the numbers.

My advice at this point is, if you are worried about Corona Virus, go get you an N95 mask for each person in your family, while you still can. They are flying off the shelves & hospitals & EMS agencies are buying them up to surplus for their personnel. Then just be careful, use some common sense, & you & your family should be just fine.

Don't get caught up in the sensationalism of the news media & don't get hung up on the numbers. Play it smart & we will all be fine.

My 2 cents of being involved in the medical field for over 26 years & being in my current "job" position.

We have Coronavirus in Sacramento—a patient is in a local hospital. It is a bit scary, but I’m not going to panic. We’ll be sure to have enough non-perishable food. And wine.

My biggest concern is my daughter’s wedding in Greece this September. I hope that isn’t impacted.

I was more worried when Ebola was spreading and Barry brought over those 2 nurses. That was way more contagious than the flu

I'm heading to Greece in March. I haven't heard of cases there yet, but I'll let you know if we hear of any when there.

If you guys need to stock up on MRE's, the price per ebay is getting kind of dumb high but it's not going to get cheaper I'm afraid.
