So here is a funny story about picking up my JLUR. I was walking to the parts department to pick up a set of all weather mats, and I saw the doors of "MY" Jeep open in the parking lot. I curiously walked outside to find a father and son crawling around in the back seat of "MY" Jeep. I "calmly" walked up and poked my head in the wide open passenger door, and asked if they liked it. Dad made some comment that I vaguely remember as "yeah, its really nice." My immediate response was "good because this one is MINE" and is not for sale. It was a custom order, and was built for ME, but the dealership has a couple other JLs on the lot, so feel free to go check them out." He was mildly apologetic, but in my defense, he was sitting in MY Jeep.

A couple minutes later I saw him driving away in a sweet Firecracker Red Rubicon.... I hope he finds his own Jeep soon, because crawling around in Jeeps in the "Customer" parking area may be frowned upon in some areas.

So - after 4 months of waffling because I loved my 2017 JKU Sahara, I picked up her replacement today at 4pm. I must say, before getting it there were things I liked better about my JK....but 3 hours later they are a distant memory. The JLU did NOT disappoint. I am truly amazed by how much nicer this is. My 9 year old approves as well! Super happy. Only downside is the mods will now commence $$$$$$ Ha Ha!

Alright....Christmas has FINALLY arrived....I am now in the circle. I LOVE IT. Cash and Michaella at Dave Smith Motors are awesome! Cash in particular was very fluent in my other languages of Smart a$$ and sarcasm...my face still hurts from laughing may way through delivery...best. experience. ever.

The new family member has arrived! But I am in Asia for another week so can’t pick it up just yet. Soon it will finally make its way home. The dealer was kind enough to send me those photos. It’s going to be really long week!

No, totally stock even the stock rims, just added the 35's.

35's just look right on this Jeep. Like lipstick on Gal Gadot. Hot without it, but with it...woo hoo.

This is a weird question, but does anyone have without a rubicon care to measure how deep the little cubby is where the disconnects would be is?
