So I bought these. I changed out my front bumper and do not have the factory LED fog lights anymore. Is there any reason that I can not connect these to the wiring for the factory fog lights?

Should work fine. If you had led fogs you might get a bulb out error but can use taser to turn that option off.

The best reason not to is that those lights used as fog lights will not be effective for fog and they’ll blind all oncoming drivers for a mile.

I will not use them as fog lights, I just want to use the existing wiring and switch instead of using one of my aux switches.

It’ll work great. I’m trying to remember but I think one side has two wires and the other has three. Possibly two grounds? You’ll see what I’m talking about but sometimes it all runs together. Either way, works great and I love keeping factory wiring intact at the plugs as much as possible

I have a set of 4” round selective yellow Rigid 360 SAE pods on the way to my house right now. , and I also intend to run them on my fog light harness. In order to not cut into my factory harness, I bought these on Amazon:
https://smile.amazon.com/TOMALL-Connector-Pigtail-Harnesses-Replacement/dp/B07GFHNQJP

They attach to the ends of the harness and have two flying leads I intend to attach the leads on the Rigid light pods. Crimp about 4 clamps, add a little heat-shrink, and you’re done.

Can’t think of a reason it wouldn’t work. At only 1.5A draw you should be good to go with the factory wiring.

Braved the cold out in the garage today and wired them up. Works awesome. This is great because it saved me from using one of my AUX switches for these lights and it was super convenient. The only hassle I had was my big ass hands dropped a wrench while trying to tighten one of the lights down. Of course it dropped in behind the winch at which time I called the winch a dam wench because I could not get my hands in to get the wrench. Had to take off the grill and loosen the front bumper to get the wrench out from behind the winch... It was a wench of a time.

So those just plug into the factory wiring harness next to the bumper attachment point?
No, these plug into the other end of the factory harness. The “fog light” attachment point.

But if you don’t mind cutting into that harness, you won’t even need these.

Argh...I included that portion of the wiring when I sold my fogs. I guess I’ll be cutting the harness!

You could probably figure out what kind of connector that is and build your own harness. Or get the part number and order a replacement harness to splice your parts into.

FYI, the factory harness carries these two Rigid 360’s just fine:

Ok, I found one problem. If I turn the brights on. It shuts the cube lights off.

The Tazer will allow the fogs to stay on with the brights. That’s how mine are set up, and I have the Baja Designs Squadron Sport lights plunged into them. Got a harness from BD and they plugged right in, no cutting into factory harness.

Okay, I have a Tazer. What is the setting called?
