I'm thinking this could be the case but I did do a custom order. I'm curious what's underneath but I don't want to remove them as I won't be able to put them back on. Out of sight out of mind? Damn...That would be my call too, especially if you bought off the lot. Door sill got scratched up, and installing these was the fastest fix.
Good eye!Your front mats were not installed correctly. The carpet cutout was removed but the drain plug is meant to be taken out of the pan and the funnel on the mat is pushed into the drainage hole and the plug is inserted on the top of the mat. This allows you to lift the plug and drain anything in the mat out of the vehicle. It will remove the annoying bump under the mat as well
maybe its me, but they should be larger and mounted closer to the edge that is where a shoe would most likely land, thinking about ordering some but want more protection coverage...I picked up my JL on Monday and noticed I already have the Mopar Door Sill Guards installed, front and back.
I thought this was an aftermarket part and not part of the build?
I bought mine from a dude on here. They are the Mopar rubber floor mats, black no red letters. Love them. Tired of all the red trim Rubicon BS.How did you get your floor mats to be black
Lol. My wife and I each have new 2020 JLUs, both with the floor mats, bought from different dealers, and both are improperly installed. Who knew? Thanks for your sharp eye!Your front mats were not installed correctly. Wrong- just the oppositeIf they come with the Jeep, they are usually red. After market mopar is usually black on mats.
My 2019 "straight from the Factory with my custom order" mats are black. Not sure if the mat color depends on the dash color or not. Or just whatever color they have in stock the day they put mats in the Jeep.If they come with the Jeep, they are usually red. After market mopar is usually black on mats.
that is a great idea and you can cover more. I think I’ll do that or get a color vinyl. For the door still I applied clear paint protection film.
I put mine in and the carpet was pre cut. Super easy to cut three or four tabs pull the carpet plug. Put the rubber matts in and push the plug. Easy breeze.Good eye!
