Good morning jeepers,
I really want a nice front bumper /winch setup, but I just cant decide. I've seen the mopar steel with the Warn winch but I just cant pull the trigger with the high price tag. What do you guys have or think is the best setup for under 1500 dollars? Thanks in advance...
How does that winch hold up? Does the RR bumper accept factory fogs?Al, this is a Rugged Ridge Spartan bumper, with a Harbor Freight Badland ZXR 12,000 pound winch. The whole package came in very close to $600.

That is my plan but so hard to find a steel bumper near plano, il. They all seemed to be way out west...You might look for a take-off factory steel bumper (I have seen them for less than $500), add a winch plate and you are about $700. Find a Warn winch on sale and depending on which one you select, you could easily be in the $1500-1700 range.
Pulled my Rubi outta the MudholeI have the LOD destroyer shorty with skid plate and Quadratec stealth 10000 winch with synthetic rope. It uses your factory fogs as well. Everything was around 1300.00....... both are holding up and working great, very happy with this setup......... they also have a mid and full width version.
I don't have it (but it's in my wishlist); the Rugged Ridge Arcus bumper is stamped steel, so it looks a lot more factory like the Mopar bumper. It has a winch plate, optional hoop, factory fog light mounts, recovery hooks with shackle holes and jack points. Sells for $550 I think. It's stubby though, so that may not be your thing.
I also have the arcus bumper and can also state that they hold up well when someone basically runs a light and you hit them. The hook in this instance went through his door like a can opener. I only slightly bent the bumper and a couple scratches. Went through insurance but otherwise I would have just taken a mallet to knock it back the 2 mm it bent in.Rugged Ridge Arcus bumper $399 (Memorial Day sale)
Warn Vr8 $450

I am seeing a $100 rebate on the bumper advertised on most vendors.Oh wow. That's the setup. I want that! I'm sure those sales are over
Yes, they're stock with the LED package. My autocorrect has been on the fritz today... are those stock fender lights?
i have the same LOD bumper. I bought it used with a few pre installed scrapes. The finish is holding up wel. Not flaking off or anything. I agree, that’s why my rear bumper is still in my lod shopping cart......... I’ll end up getting it, but like you , other things are ahead of it on the list........... definitely a top shelf company for sure.....i have the same LOD bumper. went on like butter. It was more difficult removing the stock bumper. The oem halogen fogs fit right in. You can tel when a company puts in extra effort to make sure the installation is trouble free. I love this bumper.
still shopping for a rear. Id love to find a used one but thats near impossible even here in LA. I dont know if i can pony up $1k for a bumper. The rear bumper is low priority for now.
LOD is high quality. High cost. But you get what you pay for
