Today I picked up MY*JLUR. I placed the order October 4 and it was in JB status on 10/20. It remained there until 12/6 when it entered KZ.

My dealership is in Cleburne TX, 30 miles from Alliant rail depot. The jeep arrived at Alliant on 12/16, and the dealer immediately put in a hot request.

Today, 12/27 it arrived at the dealership.

Attached is my window sticker and a few garage photos.

I am custom building a solution.

I am planning on tapping into the rear camera feed, and using that camera for 1 of the 4. The side cameras are going to mount below the cowl lights, allowing for doors off. The front camera will mount where the gladiator does.

The feed is going to a 1tb nvr, that will supplement as a witness, and have parking mode.

The output for the 360 is going to the input for backup camera, leaving the 2nd input available for a low point trail camera.

The above appears to be all possible. The following are ideas that are untested:

The left turn and right turn signals will show that camera exclusively, and interrupt the screen, the same as reverse.

Interesting. I do some camera work in my career, so that peaked my interest.

Your other vehicles wouldn't be a Tesla would it? Lol.

The idea for the system is based on one that I installed on my 2019 newmar dutchstar ( a motorhome). It came with factory 360, but needed a lot of improvement for viewing and recording.

My BMW's have 360, and just unlocked the dvr portion. This will be a fun project and I will document progress in another thread.

Excellent! I actually considered a more simple 4 way DVR for off roading . Each camera mounted under each wheel well. I would use a seperate screen not the uconnect for viewing. Can't wait to see your progress.

I have several items that I want to run even when the vehicle is off. So far the items desired are Blackvue Dashcam, 360 camera dvr, wireless hotspot, and the tail gate led light.

The DVR and dashcam are under the dash, while the peplink wifi router and tail gate led lights are in the back.

Since I have the factory tow package, it is easy to find a constant power source for each location.

In order to prevent battery drain to the point of a non-starting engine, I am installing a low battery cutoff. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R8C9JW9/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_i_aU9dEbVF6HNJK)

This is installed inside a small box that I printed.

When closed the box is weather resistant.

The leads with crimps are connected to the positive of the 12v accessory power in the rear and the grounding screw below it.

I will post more once I make more progress.

I plan on towing MY*JLUR behind my 44Ft Newmar motorhome. I have been towing a Crew Cab Chevy 2500HD for 10+ years, and have never had a problem doing so. When building MY*JLUR, I wanted to have a jeep that did *NOT* look like a TOAD (tow vehicle) when it was detached from the RV, and I also wanted to make the connect/disconnect very simple.

I chose the MAXIMUS-3 tow hooks. They make the jeep look really cool, and are very functional.

I also installed the Cooltech tow harness and RVI Battery charger. This harness connects to the RV with a 6 way plug on the jeep side. This plug is ugly if left visible, and disrupts the jeep front end, so I moved it behind the steel bumper.

The nice thing about the RVI Battery Charger is that with a simple cable, it will double as a battery tender. I have a 12V 10a wall adapter that I can now plug in directly to this plug and have a battery tender without the need to pop the hood.

The 360 camera setup is coming along nicely. I have fabricated the side mounts and front mount

. The only one that I am not finished with is the rear. This is going to take some time to do right, but I plan on locating the camera inside the metal jeep bracket, below the brake light. It will utilize one of the holes for the faux headlights.

This week I did paint correction and applied 4 coats of Ceramic Pro 9H to all the paint, glass, wheels, and calipers.

I know this is overkill, but it is how I have done every vehicle I own, and it will provide a lot of protection when the jeep finally leaves pavement.

Tomorrow I am going to install my skid plates and frame mounted rock sliders.

nice job setting up your JLUR. i have a 19 that i am trying to rig as toad. can't get the Cooltech harness working. it seems like the 12v from the MH never reaches the 6 pin connector at the bumper. i tried to jump 12 v to the 6 pin connector but no lights illuminate. any ideas? can i torubleshoot w/o conn to MH?
