D1 Order Status

Hello everyone!

On average when people order their jeep how long have you guys been in D1 status or any order code.

Just looking to see the average time frame for build. Mines pretty basic. No accessories just a JLUR with packages.

Curious as well...I've been in D1 since 12/18. So 19 days to date...

Jeep Chat says they may remain in D1 for a minimum of 30 days before they move to production.

I have been in D1 since 12/17/19, my order could start production tomorrow or a month from now - I quit checking with Jeep Chat as it is a waste of time. My dealer cannot get any info either - just a delivery target that does not seem to mean much - a couple of weeks ago my delivery target was 01/14. My only theory at this point, is they are trying to run a bunch of Diesels through to fill the pipeline and close out some long standing orders.

Dealership says production will start at 2/1/20 how accurate would that be? He didn't give me a ship date so I was a little bit confused because everyone got a estimate when they got D1. Unsure if he meant to say it ships on 2/1/20.

Thanks, time frame still seems to be in line with what I was expecting, but of course I just want it right now

Behind the scenes answer to you and everyone's build status. The holidays where the first slow down. I have 10 factory orders placed before the holidays and they were all stuck in D or D1. After the holidays their was an internal reason for Chrysler not building anything for a short period in time that delayed things further. On average the orders I place take about 6 weeks. Right now I'm going to be averaging closer to 10-12 weeks. Now that things are back to normal though I would tell a new ordering customer 6-8 weeks.
