As of right this minute if you had to pick and I know it's not comparing apples to apples right now, but from everything you have seen of the JL, which are you liking better in style. The JK or JL

JL.

OP should edit the post to include a poll (if possible). Make for easier and better representation.

I like the angular lines of my JK. The "Power Bulge " hood does nothing for me, but it's not Cosmetic, it's functionality right ? I also prefer my JK grill, and the "thin" lines of the hood.
I do like the Flat Fenders of the JL, love the bumpers, think the design and execution Team has done a fabulous job.
The "Iconic" status is secure...

Or maybe I should have said a 2018 JK "heavily discounted" or a new JL... LOL

I'm gonna be the devil's advocate and vote for the JK.

The JL is unproven and untested. It looks fantastic. It appears to have improved upon a lot of the antiquated technology of the JK. However, no matter how much you love Jeep, it's still an FCA product and a first year model at that. It's going to have bugs. Dumb ones. And lots of them. They'll iron them out and eventually turn it into a solid vehicle, but I guarantee you they aren't going to squish them all by the end of 2018.

I'm curious to see how much better the revised Pentastar really is going to be over the current one. I have absolutely no idea what the Hurricane will offer for the Wrangler and it still looks like we'll be waiting a while for the diesel, both also unproven in the Wrangler.

I totally want one, but not right now. My JK is solid and reliable. You guys go ahead and I'll catch up. ;)

I voted undecided, because I like the JL better, but the JK will be far more affordable this winter. JL is going to be priced WAYYYYY too high for what you're getting. FCA is raping us.

How do you figure the $2,500 price increase is "way too high"?
There are lots of Safety , Performance, Convenience features built into the JL.
Would I like to see "No Increase "? You Betcha, but Surprise ! Engineering design manufacturing a new product COSTS MONEY.
