But if all the trims have the same LCAs from the factory and the casters are different between the trims...then there must be a variable that is causing that caster difference. Either ride height or wheel size. Considering the rubicon is elevated and comes with larger 33" tires from the factory then these must be the cause of the caster difference. Right?
Tires don't matter. It's the taller springs like word said. They lift the frame up away from the axle. The control arms are connected at the frame and at the axle. It's like a triangle. If you change the length of one of the sides, but not the others then the angles have to change.

I’m seeking a lift that is what sounds like the Rubicon springs will give but I’m wanting to try for the stiffest I can get since I’m looking at adding weight later which will lower it a bit due to a mild overlanding setup. I’d like to be able to have clearance for 33-34” tires at full weight and still get the best articulation I can to maintain capability.

I found a VIN online and then checked the build sheet to be sure. It’s an Unlimited Rubicon with 2.0, Etorque (~50 lbs added for that), hardtop, steel bumpers, and tow group.

I called FactoryMoparDirect and SteveWhiteParts and they both claimed that the fronts were the same part number and only gave one number for both sides of the rear too. Everything I’ve read here said otherwise so thought maybe they just weren’t used to people ordering factory coil springs and don’t know?

Here’s what they gave me.
68253662AC for both fronts

68253591AA for both rears

If I can find it, would I get a 61 for the drivers side front and a 90 for the drivers side rear?

Seems, if it exists, you could put the 62 on the drivers and go up a number on the passenger side? Same for the rear?

Thanks everyone.

Yes, the passenger side should have a higher # spring for a slightly taller spring. Both my passenger side springs were about a 1/2" taller give or take.

Looking at 3 VINS of Rubicons with the above options except one, mistakenly, doesn’t have the tow group, I think I’ve narrowed down the part numbers I’d order.

As suggested by @AnnDee4444 I contacted @AllMoparParts and Benny helped with my parts lookup and also helped with supplying build sheets that even had the spring codes(IE-fronts ZBH,ZBY).

If you have the build sheet, it will have all four of those codes you’ll need if you need to buy or replace a non factory spring using the factory parts sites I’ve come across. The build sheet has the options listed that you may want to use to account for the weight of them and maybe achieve more lift. The codes will be on that build sheet and when looking up by VIN, all you need to do know what spring part numbers are on that vehicle is look at the description under the list of springs and each will have two codes that spring works for.

VIN 1C4HJXFN7KW612434 came back with

Both fronts -68253662AC
Both rears- 68253591AA
Benny said that at times there are matching part numbers for both sides.

VIN 1C4HJXFN5KW503910 came back with
68253661AC LF
68253662AC RF
68253592AA LR
68253597AA RR

VIN 1C4HJXFN7KW550923 came back with
68253661AC LF
68253662AC RF
68253591AA LR
68253592AA RR

I think I’m going to ask what my Sahara spring numbers are to see if there may be something to matching the patterns the best. If both of my front spring part numbers match and my rears, maybe I should get the Rubicon springs that match too. Same for if the passenger is 1 or 2 higher.

You are way overthinking this man.

And this bothers you enough to waste your time telling me your opinion?

I have the time to look into and I’m in no hurry. I like to research and thought I’d share what I’ve come across.

It doesn't bother me at all. This is an online forum. It's all opinions. Anyways I hope you get it figured out. I'm sure it will turn out awesome. Sorry I'm naturally a smart ass.

Daniel,
Mine came from a 4dr w/ Hardtop, Steel bumper, Tow pkg w/ the following~
3659 3661
3590 3591

And mine sits perfectly level side to side w/ that slightly taller passenger spring :) I wouldn't suggest getting the same exact spring on both sides.
That second set of part #s that you listed seems to be off, that one spring 68253597AA RR is 5 numbers higher than the other side spring.

I saw that! 97?! Has anyone ever had the chance to compare a few front springs to determine if the higher number correlates to a taller spring while uninstalled?

Yes, a taller spring will not necessarily make that corner taller. It could be to offset the heavier battery or fuel tank if it’s on the passenger side I’m thinking.

Yes, my higher part# springs were about a 1/2" taller than the lower # ones

Get this one. The others make no sense from the examples I've read about in the past:

VIN 1C4HJXFN7KW550923 came back with
68253661AC LF
68253662AC RF
68253591AA LR
68253592AA RR

That’s a safe bet, for sure. I checked on my stock Sahara spring numbers thinking it may give insight on weight distribution vs part number pattern and this one does have the same pattern.

Gladiator sets perhaps??
Old post but I wanted to pass along that I asked Benny at Allmoparparts to run a VIN for a steel bumper, ht, tow group, 700cca battery (vs the standard 600cca )Rubicon and it had 61/62 front springs and a 92/97 combo in the rear. The build sheet did show that it had a factory installed storage —> “CMD, “Cargo Group w/Trail Rail System”, which is just for securing loads in the cargo area where the loops are. It’s available as a Mopar part add on. I think it’s odd it’s on the build sheet though and factory installed. I guess it was available for order. Perhaps this is why there is a 92/97 spring combo out back.

For those who are interested. I parked next to a stock Sahara today. I have the rubi shocks and springs (2nd highest spring numbers) 1/2" spacers, and rubi takeoff wheels/tires. Wish it was a better Pic, but it was all I had to work with.
